Maxwell House has been my go to coffee since I got my first apartment, decades ago. (Not saying how many!) I actually LIKE the flavor of coffee and Maxwell House never disappoints me. I don't feel the need to disguise the coffee flavor with sugar, cream, artificial cream, and/or artificial flavors etc. I make Max every morning, water and coffee only, for mere pennies per cup. Smells great brewing too. Makes a flavorful brew using any method. In my Farberware electric percolator, my Farberware stovetop percolator (on a gas stove when storms take out power) or in my Kitchenaid Coffee maker. My only complaint is that the Sam's Club version is in a container without a useable handle. I have to dump it into another container, so the resealable lid is pointless too. Why make a "handle" that can't be gripped? Walmart sells a similar container, but with a usable handle, albeit 5 or 6 ounces less coffee. 😕

Always something I buy whenever I am in the store. Good coffee, but like most reviews say, just a badly designed container. Simply no way to get a good grip with one hand. I always transfer it to another container that was meant for 43.1 ounces of product but all 48 oz somehow fits. Too lazy to verify weight, mass, and density of either product to find out why.

Always wonderful to pop the seal on a jar of peanut butter or a fresh coffee container. This time--the scent wasn't as pronounced, and the grounds looked, well, coarser ground and lots of pale bits, not as consistent a toasting as usual. First couple pots I thought I'd done something wrong--tasted watered down, or overextracted, so I started using a 20% more in each pot. Nope, this batch is definitely subpar. I've been drinking Maxwell House off and on for decades. My grandparents drank it. I drink all kinds of coffee, good, bad, swill, camp coffee, Army coffee. This is the second time I'm really unhappy cup after cup--this stuff is as bad as Flying J coffee. I won't castigate the brand--yet; I'll certainly buy another container, because I probably got a bad batch--this happens. However, if the next one is awful, I'll be moving on somewhere else permanently.

I can just smell the aroma when I wake up to make my first pot in the morning. This is what my wife and I need to get our day off to a great start (as great as it gets for old people.) No day can start or end without a mug of this wonderful cup of coffee.

This is my favorite "go to" coffee and this new amount and price were very welcome but not the new container. It is difficult to hold as the grip area has been changed drastically. This is not so terrible that I would change brands but it is most annoying. I'll keep the older container and transfer contents but don't need that hassle.

Great coffee but they've changed the container. There's no longer enough handle to pick it up anymore. It was great before. Maybe a person with a lot of strength in their hands could handle it but many can't, especially the elderly r those with arthritis or mobility issues. I keep it in the cabinet over the percolator and it's very difficult to grip and remove. Why? Why would you change it it? Wait! I know. You found a way to save some pennies. Folgers has an easy grip canister. May have to switch.

This is just ok. I'm a big coffee person and I like it strong. You have to use a lot to get a coffee taste to last after light cream and sugar. It's usually affordable and that's why I have it. If you don't like strong coffee this is for you. I'd recommend.

This coffee has a fresh aroma and an exquisite flavor, I buy the large packaging, it is resistant, its flavor of pure fresh roasted coffee, its taste of pure fresh roasted coffee. Its soft texture, a light brown color. If the price is good bought with its huge size.

I guess I'm just old school and get it from my parents. I am so loving the original roast medium Maxwell house coffee. this is what my parents always drank in the morning nad I loved waking up to the smell of it when I was little. it brings back memories when I brew a fresh pot every morning.

Best way to start my day, and it's always "Good to the last drop" ,since I was a little girl my parents always had a cup of Maxwell House first thing in the morning, the smell of the fresh hot coffee brewing was so amazing, now that I'm a mother now, I enjoy a cup of Maxwell House everyday,.sometimes twice a day. So delicious! And the aroma is amazing!
