It may clean as well, but it smells terrible! Lasts too long and is way too fragrant. Really unfortunate that if it needed to be modified because of federal regulations, this is the best they could do. I will return what I have and will not buy anymore.

Another name brand product that I have used recently I found left an almost sticky residue on the floor. Sticky on the floor does NOT say clean to me! I am married with 3 children and I also watch a few children in our home through out the week so you can imagine how dirty our floors get with all those little ones running around but Pine Sol just cuts right through and leaves nothing but clean behind! My floors feel clean on the bottom of my feet, no yucky residue. Thanks Pine Sol!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I pour just a few drops of pine-sol into a bucket of water and wipe down my countertops you cannot believe the smell when you walk into the room. It really does smell like I have done the whole room. Just a small amount goes a long way. This is the best product in my cleaning arsenal.

It cuts through the toughest dirt.

The new smell is awful, Smells like a soaked litter box with scented cat litter. Please bring back the "ORIGINAL SCENT" it lasted long enough and didn't have the overtone of cat urine. This new smell is way too sweet and putrid. Smells nothing like what I know to be Pine Sol. I will have to find a new cleaner. I've used your product for 25 years. Sad day.

I have used Pin-Sol for decades, including as a detergent booster in the laundry. For our family, pine oil was the fragrance of clean. Unfortunately, the new scent is a pungent, persistent and singularly unpleasant “perfumey” smell. Too bad it is as long-lasting as claimed; my clean sheets reeked for several days. I won’t be buying that again.

I just now found out you can get the original scent online. The version available in stores smells like fake Christmas trees! The original scent is how I define “clean,” even to the point of not even actually cleaning.....just sprinkling a few drops here and there when I don’t have time to clean still makes me think the house is spotless!!!
