[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The smell of regular Pine Sol brings back fond memories of spending time with my Aunt Peg. My parents would play the game Password with Aunt Peg and her husband on Friday nights. I often spent the night and helped her clean her house on Saturday. Then we'd go out for a drive and treats. . . Woolworth's milk shakes.

While growing up, my mother shared hallway cleaning in the tenement where we lived. Everyone commented that they always knew when Mrs. F. did the halls because they loved the original Pinesol fragrance. Presently I have become disappointed because the price went up...the volume went down (8 ounces)...and the "New Longer Lasting Scent" is too strong & unlike the original "pine" odor has lost its distinctive fragrance.

I have tried those stand up spray mops and the mop pads attached to those push mop types and even the expensive steam mop. All have failed. There is no better way to mop your floor than by hand with the real stuff, pine-sol. I have ceramic tile throughout my house and with three kids, two dogs and lots of traffic, my floors look like a wreck at the end of the week. I have tried other brands of floor cleaner when they have been on sale and I have to use more to get the job done. Pine-sol ROCKS!

It gets down to the real clean on my floors, tubs sinks. I even use it in the garage for spring clean up of the doors and misc. Works great, with a old school attitude.

I also cleaned basic things as well such as cabinets. You can smell the pine clean sent as soon as you walk in the door. Try it I'm sure you will like it as well!

It is scent that I associated with a clean house. Now that i'm older and have children of my own I use the same thing. Nothing but pine-sol to keep my house clean and spotless.
