This tea is delicious, BUT it's not what I ordered. The item description says 48 gallon size tea bags, the box says 48 quart size tea bags. I usually buy the yellow box it has 48 gallon size tea bags. These tea bags definitely are not gallon size, it takes 4 tea bags to make a gallon of tea. The entire box make 12 gallons. That makes the Blue box very expensive to use in comparison to the Yellow box which makes 48 gallons.

I drink more tea than Uncle Si (Duck Dynasty), and for decades used the smaller bags. Last year I began to use these because they didn't need to be unwrapped.....one..at..a..time. Things were great until I got to the last package (2 boxes of 48 ea). The tea was gross...thought it was my ice, but my bottled water was fine. I bought new ice trays - nothing worked. It smelled floral and tasted nasty. I had to go back to the smaller individual bags...unwrapping 11 every single time I made new tea. They're fine. I threw every single large bag out (44 in opened box, then the second box of 48 that I opened to sniff and see if they 'might' be different. They weren't. Sadly, I don't think I'll EVER try the larger ones again! I've used my Mr. Coffee Iced Tea maker(s) for over 30 years, so consistency isn't the problem.

I was raised on Lipton Ice Tea and have raised my family on it as well. I have NEVER been dissapointed with the quality, taste, clarity and consistent flavor of this product! Since this is a bulk purchase, I store this product in a Food Saver Vacuum Canister and remove a portion at a time. I have discovered that if you just leave this product open to air, it tends to weaken over time due to heat during the summer months. But is fine in the colder months of storage.

Use to buy this in my local clubs, however for some reason they suddenly are not carrying these, only have the small tea bags in clubs. I don't want to unwrap a bunch of tea bags to make a gallon of tea, so that's why I buy the gallon size, they are easy and less of a hasle than individual tea bags. Wish they would get them back in the clubs,but at least I can purchase online.

Our Family has used this brand tea for decades. It's the best!
