Small, painfully tight, and cheap.

These used to be wonderful, thick cotton socks with just enough elastic to hold them in place. Now they are thin, uncomfortable, and made of 25% other things than cotton. Plus the socks themselves are much smaller than the mostly-cotton version. Someone decided to add a belt of elastic midway down the foot of the sock that now grabs and squeezes your foot so tightly wearing the sock quickly becomes painful. What once was a thick pile of cotton loops is now a see-through mesh with nothing but your foot showing through it. If you like your athletic socks thin with a painful grip, these are for you. Otherwise avoid them. They're worthless.

Absolute Garbage!

I have been buying the Burlington Men's Quarter Top White Socks at Sam's Club for many, many years now. Recently, I went to purchase some new ones at my local Sam's Club warehouse, and found this Member's Mark look-alike product, but no more of the Burlington variety. I went ahead and picked up a pack of them to try, but had my doubts after looking at them in the warehouse. After trying on a pair at home, my doubts were more than confirmed. These socks are not even a shadow of the Burlington socks that they replaced! They are made from much thinner material with less cushioning, the cuff on them is shorter and is less elastic, and they are MUCH smaller and more tightly fitting than the Burlington socks. They say that these fit men's shoe size 6-12, which is am absolute joke! These socks wouldn't a boy's shoe size in that range, much less a man's! I wear a 9.5 to 10 men's shoe size, and I could BARELY even get them on my foot. Once they were on, I felt like I was wearing a pair of children's socks, and I took them off after having them on for only a few minutes as they were hurting my toes. Most of the Sam's Club Member's Mark brand products that I have tried have been proven to be excellent quality. However, these Member's Mark socks are garbage, and will be returned to Sam's Club post haste for a refund! I will now purchase my socks at a different warehouse club, unless Sam's Club brings back the original Burlington brand socks that many of us know and loved.

Dissappointed

A few days I went through the men's sock isle and found that these socks had replaced the Burlington version. I purchased them hoping for the best. These run much smaller with thinner material. I will buy the Burlington socks at the big online store in the future.

Good fit and durable

Good fit and durable - my hubby is picky about his socks - swore by this one more expensive brand; I introduced these and this is now all he wears and they last a long time. This order was for replacement socks for the same kind I bought about 4 years ago

Ridiculously Undersized

My husband has been buying Members Mark socks for years and they’ve always been good quality and well-fitting. No more. Not only are these thin and cheap feeling, they’re absurdly small. He can’t even get them all the way on his size 10 feet. Perhaps they’re really boys’ socks that have been mislabeled? In any case, they’re completely useless to him.

Disappointed

For years I had purchased my quarter socks at Sams. They were comfortable and fit size 10-13. I purchased these online and realized they are now under the Members Mark brand. They are a thinner material and fit size 6-12. I wear a size 12 shoe and could hardly get one of these socks on my foot. I returned them to my local Sams Club. Please bring back the previous Burlington quarter socks. They were a few dollars more but well worth the additional cost.

Not like they used to be...

I've gotten these in the past, and they were great and long lasting. Whoever is supplying them to Sam's now should be ashamed. They are poor quality, very thin, don't wear well and shed little Tufts of black thread ends all over the place. They don't last worth a darn, and are not worth the money. I'd have returned them, but had laundered them first thing after opening and it didn't seem right. Will not repurchase at any price.

Terrible socks

I bought 10 pairs of the white quarter tops in store, and they are very good. I ordered 20 more pairs online a couple of weeks later, and they are terrible. The fabric is thinner, but the biggest problem is a very thick seam on top of the toes. Not only is it very uncomfortable, but it 's causing sores and blisters. Blisters from those seams could cause infections, and this would be especially dangerous for anyone with diabetes or other health issues.

Just plain cheap

There's really nothing good to say about these socks. They are too small, too thin, and too cheap. Here is a photo of an old & a new sock for comparison. Also, the old sock, which has been laundered many, many times, weighs 30 grams. The brand new sock weighs 21 grams. I am going to return these socks today.

Not worth the money...Poor quality

I have purchased these socks for years. Just purchased two more sets but noticed they have changed. These socks are much thinner now. Unlike my previous socks which did not shrink when washed and dried, these socks shrunk so badly they looked like they would fit a child. I wear a size 8.5 shoe. After normal washing/drying, I have a hard time putting these on because they are so small. Will not purchase these socks again. It seems the quality of so many items like these socks has declined but the price goes up. Very disappointed.
