[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I typically use Scotch packaging tape, but had not tried the heavy duty. This is very heavy duty. I would trust it for any package that might be heavy that you want to ensure it keep taped shut. The only reason that I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the fact that it was very hard to get the tape started. It tore in multiple places (see photo). One I got it started then it worked great!

I was also able to cut off the length of tape I needed without it getting twisted/tangled which can be so frustrating. I was packing up boxes for my daughter in college and I felt confident these packages would make it to her without splitting open. Sturdy tape means this mama feels the package is safe!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always have a hard time of using packaging tape because it is hard to tear and never sticks well, but this product is so much better and makes using the tape nice and easy. The tape is strong and durable so that you don't have to worry about your packages coming open. I also love that the dispenser makes the tape so easy to use and tear and makes the job easy. This is definitely a product I would recommend for home and for work and it makes shipping easy.

It is very easy to tape up my packages and i can use less because it is so strong. It applies easily and rips off easy. It's easy to grip onto the dispenser, also. It doesn't fray like others i have tried. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of 3M Scotch Heavy Duty Packaging Tape and used this product to seal a package to mail. The tape is wonderful! It dispensed very easily and smoothly. This tape is strong enough to tape cartons of books with just one strip! The adhesive on the tape really holds. The other thing I like about this tape is that it is clear so it can easily be used over labels without fear of covering important shipping information. The amount and length could be a little longer but it's enough. The tear teeth are sharp and make it easy to get any size piece you need.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently, I received from 3M, a free, 50 meter roll of Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping packaging tape, which I agreed to review. The user-friendly dispenser, which the tape came with, dispersed and cut the tape easily, for my needs. And, the dispenser can be reused when the original roll runs out. I discovered an alternate use for this Heavy Duty Shipping tape, by tightly wrapping multiple tarps that I own, expediting their handling and storage. The Scotch Heavy Duty tape confines the tarps into a smaller neater, space, which is advantageous for orderliness, transport and storing. It makes my world a bit better!

Had High Performance Packaging Tape with Heavy Duty Dispenser on hand. Went around it both ways to make sure the box would stay together. It did. Very pleased. didnt need much but it worked so well my daughter complained the it was hard to get open. :)

It's an awesome product and I used it to store collectibles, such as an autographed CD from a local musician. It's super strong and the gripper is very useful. I am very glad it was made in the USA and no worries that it won't stay sealed for storage. I am very glad it's refillable too !
