[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only kind of packing tape to use! Other kinds get wadded when you try to take them off the roll, etc. This tape always goes where you put it and stays there!! It is very durable and usually takes only one strip!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product that was sent to me by 3m, and while I did not use if for packing.. i used it on mother's day for my balloon garland * i normally use crazy glue to add smaller balloons* . I just folded the slice of tape in half and it worked! My balloons remained attached to the other balloons... then I used it to actually hang the balloon garland * i use fishing line* and again they stayed up! AMAZING!!! Note I live in Miami and it was humid. This tape is clear, stays on and works! I can only imaging how good it will do with an actual box!!!

The user-friendly dispenser, which the tape came with, dispersed and cut the tape easily, for my needs. And, the dispenser can be reused when the original roll runs out. I discovered an alternate use for this Heavy Duty Shipping tape, by tightly wrapping multiple tarps that I own, expediting their handling and storage. The Scotch Heavy Duty tape confines the tarps into a smaller neater, space, which is advantageous for orderliness, transport and storing. It makes my world a bit better!

Had High Performance Packaging Tape with Heavy Duty Dispenser on hand. Went around it both ways to make sure the box would stay together. It did. Very pleased. didnt need much but it worked so well my daughter complained the it was hard to get open. :)

Great for shipping boxes, covering paper like a lamination, arts & crafts and a tons of other uses (like taping cords to the wall, if your cat is a cord chewer; or covering up ripped up carpet [thanks, cat!] so you can go over the area with a vacuum without snagging carpet). I'm not sure what I would do without the value, reliability and effectiveness of Scotch® Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape.

It's what I always use for shipping and every year I use it to pack my Christmas decorations. Best tape ever!! We have used the tape to create boxes and it was awesome. The refillable dispenser cut the tape cleanly and was easy to use on a box.
