I always have packages to send out for returns and this is an awesome shipping tape to use to tape up those amazon boxes I need to return. Had 6 rolls of this tape forgotten in a warm 2nd floor closet for at least 3 yrs. Got laid off, started cleaning out rooms, found the tape, started making Covid19 masks to ship out to people all over the US. Used up these rolls on Sm & Med USPS boxes, and shipping labels, tape never failed me. Strong and stuck like glue on everything Ive used so far. The found rolls were perfectly fine in the warm closet for many years. I will definitely buy more.

The name is deceiving because I use it for so much more then just packing boxes for shipping. In a week I've used it multiple times from a rip in my window shade to a tear in a binder cover. It's strong and clear so I tend to use it for lots of things around the house.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape to seal some boxes for storage, The tape was clear and easy to see through insuring that the tape went on straight. The tape was strong and held full heavy boxes together without apparent strain. The tabs made it easy to see the end of the tape (hooking the tape around the tabs). Although I did not need to refill, I tried out the interlock and it was easy to remove and insert the roll of tape.

It took several minutes and a good pair of readers to get the tape started off the roll. I soon realized when trying to stretch the tape out, that the grippers on the tape dispenser are located too close to the tape roll. Pinching and gripping in the designated spots seem to inhibit the roll of tape to spin. Just a design flaw.

This is my go to tape when shipping orders, that being said I hate how it's so loud compared to other tapes from the same brand . It's loud enough that I can't do any packaging at night because I'm worried it'll disturb someone . The tape itself is great!, it sticks well and doesn't budge
