My Husband and I went shopping in the club yesterday. He saw the clock and was amazed. We had to have it. Then we decided that this will also be a great Christmas gift for his mother and purchased another one. This was the easiest Christmas shopping EVER for his mother! After hanging it on the wall, we anxiously wait every hour for the full hour to be able to hear the music and see the motions. The cheep plastic that the clock is made out of, is the only drawback. But I am sure it would be much more costly if it was made from wood. Once the clock hangs on the wall, you are not able to determine the material unless you touch it. That's why I still gave it 5 stars. It looks awesome, the music sounds soothing and the motions are simply mesmerizing!

I have bought 6 of these clocks over the years and have loved them. Each clock is set 2 minutes ahead of each other so I can hear each one. We flooded during the Baton Rouge in August 2016 and I lost one clock that was sitting on a table to have a battery change. So I will be looking for another this year.

This clock is nice when it works but it's so unreliable. I'm sooo disappointed in the manufacturer Seiko. I bought it the first time, after the song finished, the numbers just didn't line up and were all over the place. I took it back to Sams to exchange for another one. The second was good, did what it was supposed to. However, after 4 months, the songs started but abruptly ended within 2 seconds. Really strange. I tried to replace the batteries with no success. Took it back to Sams which they agreed to take back which I'm very thankful. My family likes the clock, the kids dance when the music is on but I don't think I'll spend anymore time and effort in buying another one. Seiko, you were able to design something this fun and attractive, spend a little more effort in making it last and you will attract more customers.

The clock sounds pleasant - not harsh. it plays multiple songs - you pick from 3 lists. It has a volume control, and a electric eye that shuts the music off at night. The plastic case is a little cheap feeling but the face of the clock is rich looking and enjoyable to watch. Batteries are included too! My parents and In-laws will be receiving one for Christmas...as soon as we can get back to SAM's to purchase more.

So I bought this clock in March and by June it stopped working (the motion part). The face gets stuck in mid rotation. We contacted Seiko and had to perform a few diagnostics on the clock but ultimately was sent a replacement by Seiko. Got the new clock and it worked until September and the same thing happened to the new one. Contacted the company again, same thing...sent a replacement. We are on the third clock now. I'm not sure what's going to happen in few months, but I'm hoping this one isn't defective. Husband opened up the first one to see a plastic cog gets stuck and if you hit the back of the clock pretty firmly, it works for a while but progressively gets worse as time goes on. Seiko has good customer service but these clocks seem cheaply made.

I saw this a year ago in-store..I didn't get it then & regretted it. Went back to the store a week later & the whole pallet was gone. I was heartbroken. I couldn't even get in online anywhere at this great price. I searched this site a couple months ago & there it was! Of course I ordered it! Now it is available in-store for this great price. I love it! Very stylish!

Got my first Seiko "Melody" Clock many learns ago, as a gift from my oldest son. Love to hear the tones coming from it, and others I have acquired over the years. The movement and sounds together, make it a clock you will be proud to own. The fact that they are different each year makes them a great gift, to give or receive. Excellent quality for the price. Great Job SEIKO and SAMS CLUB!!

My grandkids love to hear the music when there here, but 2 days ago I notice that the time was not right when I heard the music and it was not the hour, I've had it for about a month and had just put the box in the garbage, fortunately it was still there, I wanted to buy another but it's more expensive that what a paid, I think I will retuned it, so sad! Because I really do like it but read a review that had paid for shipping and when he got it back after a few days it had the same problem, I'm still thinking about buying another

We've bought these for the last seven years and LOVE each of them and have given them as gifts in the past, but could Seiko change the music? We decided not to buy one this year because the music is the same as the last few years! The design is a little different, but that's it - disappointed!

This was an impulse buy. Normally I am drawn to antique clocks and thought this looked a bit gimmicky. What I like is that it reminds me more of a music box. I really enjoy hearing the classical tunes on the hour. Also like that it silences when the lights go out.
