The best Raisin Bran!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You might be thinking "why would I buy Kellogg's Raisin Bran when I can find a generic brand cheaper?!" No! Don't do it! Raisin Bran has been my favorite cereal for the past 20 years. Trust me when I say I've tried all the brands! Kellogg's does it right! There are more raisins per bite. The bran flakes are more even and I swear they taste better. If you're not buying Kellogg's brand, you're not buying the best brand of Raisin Bran.

Reminds me of childhood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to have Raisin Bran every Saturday with my dad for breakfast. I haven't had it for many years but it tastes just the same and is the type of cereal that keeps its texture when in milk. Plus having some sweet raisins to add flavor to the bran flakes is a bonus.

Lots of delicious raisins

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've tried several different brands of Raisin Bran but found this to be my favorite. It has a much higher raisin to bran ratio than others, which is a huge plus for me. The multitude of raisins are like little bursts of joyful flavor in my mouth and they make me float blissfully on fluffy clouds for the rest of the day. The bran itself is also pretty good. You can feel the fiber in it, and it actually tastes fairly decent, though I am used to and would have been fine with the regular cardboard-tasting bran. All in all, I would recommend this. I used to have to buy a separate box of raisins to go with my bran, but with this, I don't need it. Kudos for being raisin-generous!

As Good As I remember but with more raisins

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of this product in exchange for my honest review. Raisin Bran is not a cereal that is new to me or my family, but I'll admit it had been some time since I last had a bowl before getting my sample. The first thing that struck me was the enormous size of the box. I've never seen a cereal box that big before and considering how fast my family and I plow through cereal in a given week, it was a welcome sight. I hope boxes this size become widely available and not just in bulk stores, because I think many families would happily take advantage of them. With regard to the cereal itself, it did not disappoint. In many respects it is the same raisin Bran I grew up eating, but there were some important differences. First and foremost, there are noticeably more raisins in it now. This was a pleasant surprise to me and my daughter, who loves raisins, and I think it positively contributed to the eating experience, especially in light of the other (less ideal) change discussed below. The second change that was apparent to me was that the Bran flakes taste less sweet and perhaps healthier as well. This is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, cereals have long contained an alarming amount of sugar in them, so if my suspicions are correct and the new version of raisin Bran has less sugar, then this is a welcome change from a health perspective. That being said, the bran flakes did seem more "cardboard" in flavor than I remember, which certainly could be due to less sugar, which obviously doesn't taste as good. This is somewhat counter balanced by the increased number of raisins, which add sweetness, but the flavor of the bran flakes does not go unnoticed. Ultimately, that's the reason I can't give this 5 stars. I'd give it 4.5 if I could, since on balance I think the trade off of getting more raisins to an otherwise healthier cereal and good source of fiber is a good one. For anyone who hasn't had Raisin Bran in a while, I recommend you grab a box the next time you're in the grocery store. I don't think you'll regret it.

Raisins? Where did they go?

What happened to the raisins? I used to be able to get a raisin in every spoonful, now I was lucky to get a raisin in a spoonful & it seemed like the flakes were missing something. I have been a regular purchaser of Raisin Bran for years. But now I’m might as well just get bran flakes and put in my own fruit.

Excellent Source of Fiber!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Kellogg's Raisin Bran cereal is my Family's all time favorite cereal. I feel good about buying it because it is an excellent source of Fiber which is so important for digestive health. One cup satisfies 20% of the daily requirement, all while tasting delicious. We all love the crunchy flakes of bran combined with sweet juicy raisins. As an added bonus, it has many vitamins and minerals. Personally I love this cereal at any time of the day, not just at breakfast. Sometimes I have it for lunch and at other times as a snack to tide me over until dinner!

Unsure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always been a big fan of the preticular cereal up until recently I wasn't able to find the Regular kind only the new kind with nuts so I was very happy with this making a comeback. Also its a winner in my home because it's a huge box even bigger then before.

Crunchy Sweetness

I like Kellogg's Raisin Bran cereal in the morning because the sweetness of the raisins is just right for me. I don't feel the need to add any fruit to this cereal. The flakes are big enough and I don't let them get soggy from the milk I add so they crunch a little when I eat them.

Breakfast Fuel

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Raisin Bran has been around as long as I can remember. When I was little this was "healthy" cereal to me and I wanted the sugar loaded ones. Now as an adult I've grown to like this cereal. There is just enough raisins in each serving that you don't feel like you got taken.

A household staple around here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Raising bran is like a family tradition for us, yes the kids are always attracted to the new colorful products that come out with each new cartoon or movie, but raising bran remains the same and still never gets "old" to us. We enjoy the familiar taste and are happy to eat this cereal, and we love the healthy aspect of it as well < 3
