I bought the berries cereal because I was trying to get a more healthy option. I was excited to see this kind with the fruit in it because I don't get enough into me. I poured my first bowl and tasted the strawberries and OMG they had a horrible taste. I was not a fan. I asked my husband to try (he eats more fruit than me) and he said it had a weird taste. I guess we are just not fans of dried fruit.

I bought this cereal and had to return it. The strawberries were gross. They were soggy, couldn't chew them and kept getting stuck in my mom and I teeth. Was hoping that milk would help but only made it worse. I have eaten this cereal before many times and have never had any problems. Dont know what went wrong this time.

I have been buying this cereal for years. In the last year I have noticed the ratio of strawberries to flakes shrinking with every passing month. I actually stopped buying it because I was left with 3 bags of all flakes and no berries. Technically, the flakes are a healthier version of frosted flakes without the berries, but the berries are the entire point of buying this cereal. At my local grocery store I can buy 4 bags of generic cereals for the price of this one box. Family sized or regular, it happens with both sizes. You get 1 1/2 cups flakes to about 10 pieces of berry in maybe 3 bowls and they're gone. Half a box of flakes - if not more. I will say, though, that if you guys improve the ratio to more of a 60% (flakes) - 40% (berries) I would gladly come back and give this cereal 5 stars instead of 4 stars. The texture is great and the freeze dried strawberries give the lightly sweetened flakes a perfect hint of sour/sweet savory crunch. Price wise, I get it that strawberries are more expensive than raisins and therefore it would be unrealistic to expect strawberry in every spoonful but I really wish for at least a 15% - 25% increase in the strawberries. I've become a regular eater of Special K for breakfast. It's a fast easy meal. The "red berries - why can't we just say strawberries?" add the right touch of sweetness to the cereal. Better yet combine 1/2 serving with a 1/2 serving of the Chocolate Special K to recreate the seasonal variety year round.

The Kellogg's Special K Red Berries Cereal is so flavorful, filling, and tasty. I particularly like it in the wintertime as I love fresh berries on my cereal and during the winter in my area, they do not taste very good. But I can eat this cereal and it tastes like I am eating fresh and flavorful berries. It fulfills my winter fruit craving and starts me off like a sunny day!.

I love hose nutritious and good the Special K Red Berries cereal is. The quality of Special K is better than any other brand we buy by a landslide. The best part is my picky eater 7 year old twins feel like they are getting a sugary treat and I feel good about giving it to them.

Both myself and my husband loved it! Our kids asked for it every morning until it was gone. Just sweet enough and the dried strawberries were a pleasant surprise. I have already told my parents and some friends about it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So they should have included other berries since they named it berries but only has freeze dried strawberries but when you get to the bottom of the bag you there's not a lot of strawberries. I shared this with my roommate who loved it so much. Normally I don't like healthy cereals but this tasted really good. I received this for free in exchange for my honest review. The price is reasonable for both regular size and family size.

Its not me, its you. Yes, you. We can no longer be together which saddens me greatly. The breakfast we share together? No more. I can no longer take you out for that special late night snack. Our rare dinners together are over too. <sniff, sniff> Why? Way too sweet! Over 11g per serving and rather than go down, you go up and that breaks my heart. Know this, I will always love you, but I have to go now.
