I have a heavy flow and this is absorbs well. The fit is so and so. The wings help a little but I feel like it moves around depending on how active you are. If you use it to sleep you're fine but to use it during the day you may need to check it a few times just to be safe.

I have tried different brands of pads and settled on ALWAYS because they offer various sizes to choose from based on my flow. My favorite size is 5 because it provides the best protection based on my flow. Plus the adhesive sticks well. It doesn't matter if you're light or heavy, ALWAYS has you covered.

I have always found myself a fan of the ultra thin pads. Over the last several months, I have been having issues with hormones and heavier than normal periods. This past month I actually needed a blood transfusion because of the severe heaviness of my period I found that the ultra thins were not sufficient, even when using a tampon with the product, I was searching for anything to get me through until my doctors appointment. I found these at my local grocery store. They were the thickest longest possible pads I could find I can certainly say the absorbency, fit, and leakage protection or just what I was looking for. The pad itself was comfortable though I am not used to wearing them so it felt large And I felt a little self-conscious because at the time I tried them I was wearing leggings.

My mom used to get these since she gets really heavy flows throughout the night and the morning, and sometimes during my first few days, I would wear them during the night as well because I also get heavy flows, and mainly in the morning when I first get out of bed. Even though they are very big, I would feel very comfortable knowing I wasn't going to stain anything, and the pad had me fully protected. We only stopped buying these pads because my dad gave us a year supply of pads. I would recommend them for overnight use, but I would not wear them out, it's definitely going to look obvious that you're wearing a pad lol, they're really thick pads, and they're really long.
