[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really enjoy using Dawn so I was excited to try their hand soap. I love that it’s soft on the hands and it’s tough on grease or any residue that’s on your hands that your trying to wash off. It also smells great !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never tried this antibacterial hand & dish soap before so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately I did not like the after smell it had it was a little to much of the antibacterial of a scent for me. Even though it did do it's job right as always. If the green apple scent would of been a little more powerful I believe it would of been great for me. It left my dishes spotless and my hands feel super soft.

Dawn is the best dish soap. It only takes a small amount to get the job done but it is the best. However I do notice that after a couple of washes my dish soap scrub has a funky smell. I'm assuming this is the dawn dish soap because I have tried other brands and I only get this smell whenever I use dawn. But I don't mind the smell as long as it gets the job done.

In my experience, this product does not function well as a dish cleaner or grease cutter. Most dishes require 2 or 3 washes before being clean. As a hand soap, even tho the scent is pleasant, once you rinse your hands off, you still smell like whatever food you just touched. Very poor product overall.

I absolutely love dawn! I have a few boys in the house who like to work on things and get all dirty and oily. Dawn seems to be the only soap that will get all the oil and dirt off of them while smelling get at the same time! I would definitely recommend using dawn

As others have pointed out, the labeling is confusing. For labeling design, it deserves some sort of special, last place award. I put it in the bathroom. My wife moved it to the kitchen. Is it hand soap? Is it dishwashing liquid? Was it designed for hands or dishes? Skin is different from hard porcelain, glass, stainless steel and plastic and I don't particulaly want what might be designed to work well on baked-on, caramelized mozarrella to spend much time on my hands. So what exactly benefits from 50% less scrubbing? Wait, a sliced apple, as pictured? Can't be! Oh, it has apple blossom scent - even though that's not a blossom. Wait again, there's a little asterisk - less scrubbing vs. dishwashing liquid. Oh, but I don't scrub my hands with dishwashing liquid, so why compare? It's in a bottle with a shape commonly used for dishwashing liquids, yet it clearly says hand soap, front and back. Nowhere does the labeling say it's (also) for dishes. Perhaps drug labeling regulations for the antibacterial ingredient twisted the labeling team into pretzels trying to satisfy both the marketing team and regulatory team. Another concern: Does residual antibacterial (e.g. on poorly rinsed glasses) have any effect on beneficial gut bacteria? I doubt it's been studied. And do I really need an antibacterial for dishes? No. Or hands? No. On top of all of this, it doesn't even work that great on dishes. ...or hands. I have to use a ton to have good effect on grape seed oil in the popcorn pot, for example, whereas Palmolive ultra strength "Dish Liquid" digs right through it. As does regular Dawn. To be sure, we aren't buying this again.

Dawn is the best whether you need to clean your dishes or get a grease stain off your clothes. I only trust Dawn because you can use so much less than some of the other brands of dish soap. It's just as useful for dishes as it is to get stains off of clothes.

Dawn is my go to dish soap. It works so well, and gets all the grease and gunk off of my dishes. it is also great to use on really dirty hands. Especially if you have a husband who likes to work on things and has greasy black hands. Dawn gets the job done!

Before switching to Dawn dish soap I used Myers because it was supposed to be amazing. We did a study in my biology class to see which detergent got dishes cleaner. Turns out it was this Dawn dish soap getting the dishes way cleaner! Fell in love since then! Does not dry my hands out!
