Like so many others... I have found myself on this page searching for the proper usage of this soap. My intended purchase was as dishwashing soap. When my husband pulled it out to use it.. he immediately said to me - this is hand soap. So, here I am, trying to verify what the heck I've purchased and prevent marital strife. P&G is actually now creating arguments with my husband - thanks for nothing... we are plenty good at disagreeing without any help! It does in fact say "hand soap" on the front. It does also, in fact, say "dishwashing liquid" at the bottom on the front. BUT, when you go to the back label to try to get a better understanding - it actually gets MORE confusing. The back label says USE: For handwashing to decrease bacteria on the skin. It says NOTHING about dishwashing. Seriously?! How can you receive the same feedback over and over and not fix the label. If this is honestly a 2-in-1 product update the label, update the usage, and clearly communicate with consumers. If not for yourselves do it for every married couple in America.................

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dawn Ultra Antibacterial is the one and only dish detergent I use. I can count on it to get my dishes clean and germ-free. The apple blossom smell is great and I can get a full sinkful of suds that last even by just rinsing out the cap. Amazing! I highly recommend Dawn Ultra Antibacterial to everyone that wants confidently clean dishes.

Unsure if I’m using it correctly. I know dawn is known for grease fighting capabilities. I can only get oil off my pans if I use it enough to get super lathered and rinsing with hot water. I’ve heard better things of the original blue dawn soap. Haven’t used it yet. I definitely will try it though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dawn is a go to brand I never stray from. I love this apple scent smells nice and refreshing not just like cleaning soap. This soap gets the hardest food off pans. I used this after I made lasagna in my baking pan. Some of the sauce was like dried stuck on there and wouldn’t come off so I put some of this soap on it and used a sponge and it came right off. Ive used cheap brand soap and they never get off those hard food spots. For sure spend your money and always get dawn. It will always work better then other soaps.

I typically only hand wash pots and pans so I need a dish detergent that is going to take off cooked on and baked on foods. This Dawn product did an excellent job in getting the baked on food off of the baking dish I used to make lasagna with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't know what they've done to Dawn, but it's not good. The label says it's a hand soap before dish soap and it's certainly true. I couldn't get a sink full of suds that lasted through just the plates and silver ware. When my hands were greasy from mixing a meatloaf the soap didn't clean my hands well. Other than a nice scent, I see no difference in this Dawn compared to bargain or dollar store soaps. My bottle is sitting on my bathroom sink where it's being used as a very expensive hand wash.

I don't think I have used any other dishwashing soap other than this one for years now. The best part of this soap is that I don't need to use alot of it for it to br effective. The different scents they have are all great. I'm okay with the price. It's never an issue for me.

Back when I couldn't find hand soap anywhere I resorted to using my dish soap for my hands. I already like Dawn because it obliterates all grease so the fact that they make it in an antibacterial version makes me happy. It left my hands soft and they didn't feel stripped of their moisture
