Great absorbency, sad durability, too small

My 12 yr old son is continuing to have challenges with staying dry at night. When Underjams first came out, he was 10 and 85 lb and fit in the Large perfectly. The absorbency was much better than Goodnites, but the sides fell apart quickly. Now at 12 and at 110 lb, the sides don't last through the night. I don't recommend them, regardless of the size range because the side durability is really poor. I do have to say that they seem to be much more absorbent than Goodnites and my son says they are more comfortable. Pampers are such a superior product compared to the other diaper brands, so it is disappointing that the same isn't true for Underjams. Fix the durability issue and make a bigger size and you will win market share quickly!

Nighttime protection

My daughter is six and a half and has almost mastered staying dry at night. We have been using Pampers UnderJams for about a year now and have been very happy with them, she has had very few leaks. The only complaint I have is that I can only find the XL size in the boy print. Thankfully my very girly girl doesn't mind!

Perfect but a little too small

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first time i bought underjams (this week) they are really absorbent and fit pretty good, they stretch a bit around the waist and in the morning i saw that one side had been broken off, is it possible to make them a bit bigger or make another size which is for bigger kids? Beacouse if so that would be awesome.

Autism

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son has Autism and potty training has been very hard on me. We go one week and it will be great, then it's like we fall backwards and he doesn't want to try anymore and we start all over. But keeping him in the underjams makes him feel the urine a little more and he doesn't like that so we are moving forward with that step.

Love they are bigger

My son is 3 1/2 years old and is 3 1/2 feet so very tall for his age...he grew from size to size with diapers and quickly even grew out of the easy ups...just when i was unsure what i would be putting on my son who is not yet fully potty trained due to his disability i was so glad to find these! My son is the small size so if it gets to that point...i know i have more time with one more larger size! :) Thanks pampers! Three years a loyal customer and still continuing to impress! :)

Best of its kind

We've tried different types of training diapers and "big kid" bedtime diapers for our three-year-old, who still needs protection overnight. This is the only kind that has not resulted in us having to wash sheets every 2-3 nights from diaper leaks. We also love that the big boxes have designs that are not tied in with movies or TV shows. We hate supporting that kind of marketing toward young children, so we can feel good about the generic football and robot designs these come in. :)

Underjams work like a charm!

After a long time of using another brand (pull-ups) that are scratchy and don't work well if your son really produces a lot of fluid, I am over the moon by this excellent product. Underjams are VERY absorbent! My 5 year old has not wet the bed in over a week! HORRAY! I don't know why I continued to change sheets every night and I guess I really didn't know about this product, but I am so happy I do now. Thanks Pampers. and... Keep at your Gifts to Grow because I just ordered the Radio Flyer big wheel (it only took 5 years and 3 kids)!

Big Help

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for my oldest when we were having some difficulties with potty-training. They turned out to be a great investment and worth every penny! Easy-Ups were great for the daytime, but he needed something more absorbent at nighttime and these worked perfectly. They are a little pricy but they're worth it to save on so much laundry and to keep your child from being embarrassed.

Serious Leakage Issues

When my 4-year old son began leaking through his Pull-ups, I switched him over to Underjams. At 43 pounds, he's on the smaller side of the weight scale for the S/M size of this product. However, despite the fact that he goes potty before bed, and again before I go to bed, he leaks through the Underjames 2-3 times/week. Last night, when I brought him to the bathroom before I went to bed at 11, his Underjams were already wet. I had him go potty and I changed him into a dry one. When he got up at 6:30 he was soaked again and leaked thorugh his Underjams. Again. I am baffled by this - his baby brother sleeps 12 hours/night in the same Swaddler without a single leak. This kid can't go 6-7 hours without leaking thorugh his much larger Underjams. I'm very disappointed in the performance of this product and don't know what, if anything, I can do to make it work better. Not having to wash his sheets three times a week would be nice.
