I usually just use fabric softener sheets in the dryer, but I received Downy Fresh Protect as a sample and it has totally surprised me. My whole house smells awesome, and my clothes feel clean and light. I have found with some products that there is a residue on clothes, but not with this! The smell does fade after several hours of wear, but I think that is still impressive! My only negative is the price, this isn't a detergent, so I would not pay more that I would pay for regular softener. As a note, I tested Downy Fresh Protect for free, but all opinions are my own.

I recently received a sample of this product from Influenster to test. I'm absolutely in love with the scent and amazed at how long it lasts! I folded my clothes and left them in the drawer. When I pull out a new shirt to wear, I can still smell the freshness as if they just came out of the dryer. I will be buying this product for my every day laundry routine. The Downy Fresh Protect April Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield is a great product. I washed a couple of loads and they all smell so fresh and clean. The scent stayed on the clothing throughout my day. I did receive complimentary samples of Downy Fresh Protect to review.

These really boost the cleaning and clean scent even to stinky workout clothes, even for my boyfriend's clothes that he regularly gets dirty via fishing, working out, working on his car, working on outdoor projects, etc. I recommend these to boost your laundry, especially stinky laundry.! I got to try a free sample but this opinion is my own. It cleans kids clothes to a higher degree also, no matter what they get into!

This is an amazing product. It makes my clothes smell amazing! It's important for me to always smell good, and to have something as easy as this makes my life so much easier. I was really excited to get this product for free for reviewing purposes in my Influenster box, especially since I have been considering purchasing this product anyway. I threw a pack in my laundry and let it do its work. Upon taking my laundry out to move it to the dryer, I noticed that I could hardly smell the scent the beads were supposed to leave behind. There may have been a trace of it, but not the smell I had been wanting. I didn't want an overpowering smell to my clothes, just enough to signify that they were clean. However, this product didn't deliver the experience I was expecting. I would probably consider purchasing a bottle just to try again, but if that did not work I probably would try another brand or not purchase again.

I absolutely love this product. It made my clothes smell even more fresh and I like that I could put it in the wash before I added my clothes. I always forget to add fabric softener. Everything smelled so clean. I received the Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but this is my own opinion. Definitely a product I will purchase.

This product is absolutely amazing!! I received a free sample to try, in exchange for my honest opinion. I could smell the wonderful scent as soon as I opened the box, there was no need to open the package. I used it in a load of towels, just sprinkled it in the bottom of the washer before adding the towels. I chose to try it in the towels because they are pretty old, and were getting a musty smell. I was amazed at how soft my towels came out, and the scent had gone from musty to really pleasant, and the scent lasted until we got around to using our towels! I have tried many other products and home remedies, but nothing compares to Downy! I will definitely be buying this product to use with every wash! Thanks Downy!

I tried to use this product on the sheets for my bed and loved the smell at first. The smell faded after a couple days even though I was expecting it to last a little longer. I did received these products complimentary for testing purposes, however my opinion is all my own!
