My family has been using Downy product for years, so when I was given a sample of In-Wash Odor shield, I was more than willing to try it. The packet was filled pretty well and based on the directions, I was to use the entire packet with a load of laundry. I was impressed that even though the load was pretty large (included shirts/socks/sweats, towels, and bed sheets/pillowcases - things that can carry a bit of a smell after using for a while, the fragrance permeated through everything! I was a little bothered by how strong it was, so I will suggest using less that what the directions might advise. The scent was not my absolute favorite, but given that I got it for free, I couldn't complain. Overall, it's a good buy. Do I think it's absolutely necessary? No. But when you have a job that requires a lot of moving around and often comes with messes, sometimes giving the laundry a little extra boost isn't always a bad idea. I was super excited to try this product out! It smells so good even through the packaging. I tossed it in during my color wash cycle and was very happy with the results. It left my clothes feeling super soft and I could not stop smelling my socks. I tried this product for free but this my honest opinion.

For this being the first time trying this time of product I really liked it. I'm impressed with the consept of how you add in inside the washing machine and not adding it while your washing like most of us do when it come to the softener. The smell of this is amazing and love how my clothes smell fresh for days. Will continue to use this product and will be repurchasing again.

I was kinda skeptical about this product at first. I wasn't sure it'd work but boy was I surprised. I was sent this product for testing purposes so I personally did not buy this item but I totally would. I noticed my clothes started fresh and stayed fresh at the end of the day. I'm a college student who also works on campus so I find that perfume doesn't tend to last in the Texas heat but this did. Great job Downy!

I used this on my kids clothes. makes them smell great. especially my sons who his clothes sometimes smell bad lol. this really freshened them up. I wanted to try these, I got a free sample to review but all opinions are my own and I will be buying these on my own too.

I love Downy overall I love their new lines of scented beads. It makes everything smell so fresh! I have sensitive skin and I can actually use it. I was so excited. I did receive this product for free from an Influenster box for my unbiased opinion. I love it.

I received downy fresh protect in April fresh as for free to sample it and give my opinion. It smells really good. I had just gotten back from a week long camping and music that involved rain, dust, heat, sweat, glitter, and body odor from not showering for a week. I came home to find this product in the mail and added it to my stinkier than usual laundry. After the cycle my clothes smell awesome! I work as a waitress in a very hot and humid city in a building with barely functioning AC. I am excited to see how my clothes hold up to my double shift tomorrow.

They are a bit unusual since they look like a packet of pink squashed rice. My boyfriend actually saw these and used it regularly so I got pretty excited. THESE ARE AMAZING, weird, BUT AMAZING! I went through a full workout and my clothes still smelled fresh out of the laudry. They had been laundered about a week prior so I was shocked they still smelled so good after so long and after a workout. Might be a new holy grail product. Now I understand why my boyfriend likes these so much!

I am in love with this product. I have always been a loyal customer to downy and have just about used every downy product. This is such a great ptoduct for my work clothes. At times my clothes smells from farm dinners where they grill at make food at the farm and the smell can be really bad at times depending on the wood they're burning. And now when i use the downy fresh protect with febreze in wash odor protect i dont have to worry about that scent lingering on my work clothes even after washing.

My whole family loves this product. I love the smell of clean laundry and this product gives our laundry such a great smell and it lasts for so long! My husband loves it as well. We are potty training our daughter so I out this in her laundry and helps her clothes come out smelling good! I will be buying this in the future..I received this product for free but these are my honest opinions
