Downy Fresh Protect works, your clothes will smell fresh and just a bit flowery. If the concept appeals to you, I'd say go for it as it is effective. However, I don't see this as a necessary product if you are already washing your clothes and especially if you use fabric softener, which already leaves behind a noticeable scent. It's advertised as deodorant for your clothes - have you ever really thought you needed that? This product is mostly useful for making YOU notice how your clothes smell, since we're pretty accustomed to our usual detergent/softener scent. Overall, it's just another thing to spend money on considering it doesn't replace detergent. My family and I are pretty active and are constantly trying to find products that helps our clothes to remain fresh and smelling great. I must say that after trying the Downy Fresh Protect April Fresh In-Wash Odor Shield I was highly impressed. The scent of the beads reminded me of running through a field of flowers and was very soft and refreshing. After a couple of days I even noticed that our clothes still smelt fresh. The Downy was super easy to use, you simply pop them into the laundry and then start the cycle. Packaging has nice spring colors on it. This product is amazing. Its so easy to use and not messy, which is a big plus because liquids can be a hassle. I normally don't notice my detergent or fabric softer when I put on my clothes but after using this I put on my shirt and it smelled amazing. I was very impressed by the scent that lasted. I did receive this for free from influenster but this is my honest opinion. I will definitely be purchasing this product.

I have never used this product before but I will forever be a customer now. I used this once and it has kept all of my clothes and even my whole closet smelling great for DAYS. No need for perfume or lotion when your clothes smell this delicious. I would absolutely recommend this to all of my friends and family. I tested this product for free, but my opinions are my own. I really enjoyed using this, my clothes are more fresher because of this. I love the smell, that it gets my clothes cleaner. I love that it doesn't mess with the color of my clothes, or destroy them in anyway. The freshness last really long, and that is a plus for me. Clothes with the nice fragrance.. everyone loves that.. this product does the same. Fresh fragrance which makes you feel good when you wear your washed clothes. I got this product for testing for free but for sure will buy it again and recommend to family and friends too. Reviews are only mine after using the product.

I love this product! I used the April Fresh scent and loved it. I love the way it made my clothes smell and the scent lasted for a while. A week or two after washing, when I pull it out of my drawer I can still smell the product. I absolutely LOVED the smell of this product. I was given two small free samples, and I used one in my car, underneath the seat, and my car smelled so fresh! I appreciated the packaging as well, I didn't feel that my dog could get into it, and I could open it easily.

I recieved several samples of these April Fresh scent beads in the mail. I emptied an entire package into a load of laundry just like the directions stated, and the results were amazing! As soon as I walked into my laundry room to unload this load of laundry from the dryer, the scent was overwhelming - in a great way!! My clothes smell great and they continue to keep this awesome smell after wearing all day. Will definitey be purchasing this product.
