So I was cautious about trying these because I have an asthmatic son. I was pleasantly surprised though. The scent left is so soft and very subtle. He had no issues with it at all and it just smells divine. I love the fact that this also contains odor guard as I have teen boys who no matter how much deodorant they use end up smelly by the end of basketball practice. The Downy fresh protect odor defense is seriously a miracle in disguise. I live in Phoenix, where our summer temps are 110+ daily. I used this stuff in my load of workout gear wondering how well it would perform. I went to the gym and even as I was working out I could still smell what these amazing little pellets of magic could do. If you want your clothes to smell fresh and clean all day long, grab yourself a container of the Downy fresh protect with Febreze odor defense. Seriously, I wish I had known about these sooner. It is a new laundry staple in my home. I did receive this item free for testing but I am writing this review solely on my opinion of the product.

I love this product. When I received it- I was a little skeptical to try something new being that I am so accustomed to my current routine, but this is SO MUCH easier. Trow in some fresh protect beads and your laundry will smell better, feel better, and it is much quicker to use. They also work well poured into a Scentsy or other wax warmer so that your house smells as good as your clothing now. I received this product for free in return for an honest review. I had wanted to try Downy beads for awhile and was glad I was able to participate in this test. I received 3 packs of Downy beads. I used them a few days ago and really liked them. However, at first I was a bit confused about how to use them, because the package directions were a bit confusing. It said to empty packet into washer, but I missed the “empty” part and wasn't sure if I needed to cut the pack open or not. I put on my reader glasses and saw that I was supposed to cut the package and pour the beads into the wash. I would definitely recommend Downy beads.

I have always been really skeptical to the additives for washing your clothes. I tend to use a bargain brand detergent from big box stores and that usually does the trick. I was excited to give these a try and I'm so glad I did! I was sent some to try in return for an honest review and have since purchased a bottle of my own. They smell fantastic and actually do add so much to the scent, cleanliness, and protection of our clothes! This is particularly helpful during the summer months! I would definitely recommend this product!

These are perfect for getting your laundry to smell fresh and clean. I used these for my workout clothes. Let's just say they were getting bad but after using these they smell fresh. I won't be the smelly kid in class! I received these for free to test. These opinions are my own.

This product is really great for everyday linens. I have been using it for my bed sheets and towels. I love sticking my nose into my pillows or a fresh towel and having a wonderful scent to entice my senses. The product is super easy to use and my laundry always comes out smelling fresh! Love it. This product is amazing and I can't stress it. I am a lazy washed and tend to put it off untill I need to. Clothes always tend to get rid of the good downy smell after a day. 3 days after I washed my washing machine and my clothes still smelled amazing!

I love the scent of Downy April Fresh and love these beads! They leave every load of laundry smelling great - including our rugs and gym clothes! I can smell the scent for days after using them! I tested the Downy Fresh Protect Beads for free, but all opinions are mine.

First off laundry comes out of dryer so great smelling and fresh. It makes me want to shower in this stuff!! I stay very active and all day long I could smell my fresh smelling clothes no matter if I was running around after my kids or actually running at the gym! Definitely worth the extra dime to smell extra fresh all day!
