We love these training pants with my sons!

I have 4 little boys, and so far have potty trained three of them. While I would like to say that they were all trained within a few days, that just isn't the case. In fact, 2 of my boys night trained MUCH later than they day trained. We love using Pampers Easy Ups Trainers, even at night. They pull up and down like real underwear, and they have characters that the kids love. They are absorbent and keep everything contained instead of all over the bed. I like that they wake up with clean sheets, but can also use them like regular undies when they need to use the toilet. Thank you, Pampers!

Okay, but not great

I bought these because my son wanted the Diego design and Pampers are a good brand. I had purchased Huggies prior to this and liked them, but didn't think there'd be much of a difference. I was wrong. Huggies Pull-Ups have the "Easy Open Sides" and that is very convenient. It's so frustrating to have to take off shoes & pants when needing a new pair in a public bathroom. The other thing is that the color change symbols are so light that there's no incentive to keep it there like on the Pull-Ups... he can't see them. He has trouble pulling up both types, but did better with the Pull-Ups. I've never had either type rip when pulling them up myself or having him do it as mentioned by others. I also like that the Pull-Ups have a cool feel as an indicator to him that he's had a bit of a leak and instigates him to use the potty. The Easy Ups don't have anything like that and we have not had any progression toward better potty training. It doesn't bother him to be wet while in the Easy Ups :-( I've also found that they are much more likely to leak at night than the other brand. Size has not been a factor with either brand. I find that I have to edge toward a smaller size since my son is tall and thin, but I have to do that with all brands of diaper/training pants. I just go by the weight measurement instead of the size number and have had good results. I really like Pampers Swaddlers for my infant and have really great results, but the Easy Ups just don't measure up to Pampers' usual high standards. I'm going back to the other brand. Hope this helps the other moms out there.

Excellent Quality~ Great Characters

I love the Pampers Easy-Ups training pants. I use them for my 2 1/2 year old son who is learning how to use the big boy potty; he loves Diego who is printed on the Easy up. Excellent quality, easy to change and easy for him to get them up and down on his own. I would not use anything else but pampers products.

Love these

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these for my 18 month old son whom has been showing early signs of being ready to potty train. I was pleasantly surprised how well they fit, and how they stay up. They are easy to change. They do not hold as much as a regular diaper but we are yet to have any leaking.

Great product...could be better.

I love the designs of Pampers Easy Ups. The amount of absorbency is average with other training pants. The only problem I have with them is that they don't have the easy-open sides. When I dropped off my son to PreK (3), his teacher complained that she had to remove his pants in order to remove the Easy Up. She asked me if I could by the kind that has Velcro openings on the sides. Since then, I have been forced to switch from my beloved Pampers brand to another brand of training pants that have the Velcro adjustable sides. Sorry, Pampers...

helped potty train my boy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] these were great to have when transitioning to underwear. MY son is now 5, potty trained at 3.5. These were great, he felt like he was wearing underwear, but they absorbed great! I will be using these again for my newest son.

Evan's Mom

I was very happy with this product. It definitely works great when you are potty training. I wish the actual pants were a little better quality. Sometimes the edges would wrip off (didnt happen too frequently) and over rall, excellent product. Pampers rocks!

Not very absorbent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used Pampers brand diapers when my son was a baby. He began potty training and my mother in law loaded us up with a bunch of Huggies pull ups. We went through all of them and decided to buy my usual brand Pampers easy ups this time. I am not satisfied at all with their absorbency. My son wakes up with wet clothes and wet bedding. I really like the waistband and fit on him versus the other brand, just not their lack of absorbency.

Potty Helper

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The pampers easy ups have been a life saver in our household. We have a 2.9 and a 4.9 year old, and potty training has been difficult, to say the least. Easy ups have saved the day by providing security for the kids as needed, and help to us during trips, etc. Thank you, Pampers!

Substitute for diapers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son loves the "big kid" design and fun characters, and begs to wear them; but as far as potty training I've given up on them (and any similar product) In my opinion they're a less absorbent, more expensive version of a diaper. Compared to other brands they do hold up better so if this is the route you choose I'd say Easy Ups are the best route. But if potty training is difficult for your child, they will continue as if it were a diaper and you will just be changing more of them.
