I thought this fabric softener did a really good job! I never noticed that my clothes felt hard or stiff at all. I don't think this left any scent on them either. You can take that as a positive or a negative. I also like the thickness of the softener because it never got stuck in the bottle. Overall, I would recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think I have found a new fabric softener...most brands I have to double recommended amount to get desired effect, not Gain Tropical Sunrise..my clothes were totally static free, soft and great smelling.

I love the smell of Gain so I purchased this fabric softener for the first time. When I used it, it was super thick and gloppy, like yoguart! I poured out some and added water and that made it worse. It also wouldn’t wash out of my washing machine compartments. Did I get an old batch or something - I’m confused!

I bought a 1.02 L Original gain fabric softener in May 2016. Don't use it much as it is too strong and I have allergies.. Only when packing up the boys' camping gear after summer. When I wanted to use it yesterday, it had gone all solid gel. Did not know gain has a 'best before date'........ Weird.

This should be obvious to everybody however in case it's not fabric softeners are loaded with toxic chemicals. Health problems can range from headache, lightheadedness and fatigue to serious organ and central nervous system damage, lung damage and even cancer. I am still recovering from irritated lungs after a family member used Gain to wash a blanket cover without my knowledge. Fabric softener residue is virtually impossible to remove from cloths etc. regardless of how many times it is washed afterwards. Imagine what this residue does to your body (especially small children). Do the right thing and discontinue the use and production of this toxic product immediately, .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the smell of tropical bliss in this gain fabric softener. If you're not big on fruity fragrance you may want to not use this. But I love that it leaves my laundry so soft and smelling amazing! Would use again and purchase for future laundry!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gain Fabric Softner smells great while in the bottle. The problem is that I don't smell it at all on my clean clothes. I will have to admit, it did actually soften the laundry up quite a bit and I didn't notice any static either. Another thing that I didn't like is that the instructions were pretty much nonexistent. They didn't tell you when to add it to the machine; such as the wash or rinse cycle. It also wasn't specific about where to put it. Some washing machines don't have a dispenser, so in that case, where does it go? I really was not impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works very well - so soft! Fragrance is strong, but not overwhelming or sickening. Very tropical! I might choose a different fragrance next time, but this fragrance is fun and clean-smelling. A nice add-in to laundry routine.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received my Gain Tropical Sunrise Fabric Softener today. Washed my favorite blanket with it. I was impressed that there was no static once it was dry. Normal dryer sheets leave static behind on this specific blanket. The scent was clean, but not over powering. I would buy this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been a really long time since I have used a liquid fabric softener. I decided to try Gain to see if I should add this back into my routine, and was quickly reminded how much I missed that long lasting scent and softness. Just using dryer sheets is not enough, but adding liquid softener back into my wash, made a world of difference. Even my hubby and daughter made a comment on how nice it was to grab a towel days later and still have it smell so nice. I really like how the cap has indicator levels of how much to use depending on the load size, essentially taking the guesswork out of using it. I definitely plan to add this into my regular laundry routing.
