Gain Original Powder Laundry Detergent is a great product. It effectively cleans laundry and the scent lingers on clothing. I can say Gain's products never disappoint in quality and cleaning power.

I didnt get 40 loads. Just depends on size of load. I like Gain in a powder form in the box. Gain is a great laundry detergent! The larger size packaged in a box was not available when I needed it. I prefer powder over the liquid or pods.
