More than strong enough for typical loads. Large ratchets are easier to use. Coated hooks and rubberized ratchets give comfort that they wont cause excessive wear/scratching on the bed of the truck.

These are sturdy ratchet straps. The ratchet works smoothly. The straps bleed color onto tied down items. My microfiber sofa had red stripes after removing straps. It did wipe off of couch, but microfiber cleans much better than a lot of other fibers. Just be aware.

We bought straps to transport our new couch. When we got home, the straps had left red dye on our new couch.

These are very nice for the price. The spindle is very smooth, I can spin it with my fingers in the release position. The handle can be locked in the 'Parked' position to prevent it from popping up.
