When I received this box, it had been handled so that the top had bursted off one of the cocoas and cocoa was everywhere. Could not even take the box of Tide pods inside. It had to be scrubbed off and opened outside. Cocoa powder went everywhere. Did not feel one of the boxes of cocoa was safe due to being opened and in a box with chemicals. Food products and chemicals should not be packed together that way. I was very unhappy with the mess I received.

It does not taste good. It's kind of bitter. But, get this, if you add something sweet to it, or put it in something sweet, then it tastes completely different. It doesn't seem to mix with cold fluids, so you might want to agitate it with a mixer or try a heated medium for blending. Or mix it with something with fat, like yogurt, as it seems to bond with fatty materials. This might sound crazy, and we'll see how it goes, but I am thinking about trying this chocolate stuff in a cookie. Maybe a cake, too. I am considering blending the chocolate with some coca butter and making little drops. I will call them chips. I ...

In the past this was very well shipped. This time the containers were unwrapped and separate. One of the lids had been lost/removed and covered slightly with wrapping tape. This did not work at all. Since the tape did not cover the entire top, the factory cover had or developed a rip and ended up all over the inside of the box and on the other items in the order. Lost perhaps 1/3 of the contents so not a big deal except for the mess inside the box and spillage as cleanup was competed. I've used the shipping many times and it has always been perfect. It was noticeably lighter in color and the taste was seriously lacking. Looked it up and they also started using vegetable oil, (which is a chemically made product), instead of regular cocoa butter. I'm so sad, have to start looking for a substitute.

Unfortunately our local store was out so I had it shipped to my house. I hoped for the best and ordered 2. They put NO packing material in the box! Imagine 2 powders bouncing around in to each other. As you’d suspect 1 did not arrive full. The others seal held thankfully. I will continue to buy this product but only from the store and not online.

I'd never baked or used cocoa powder before but decided to go with Hershey's. It was fabulous and now I'm excited about adding it to smoothies and my coffee. Delicious and mixed smoothly. BTW, the pudding came out great!
