Being a farmer I am always out in the sun and having a hat on. My hair started thinning when I was in my early 20's. I started trying all different products and the Rogaine Foam was by far the easiest. It doesn't "regrow" the hair that I have lost, but it has helped to thicken the hair that I do have. I really don't ever see myself giving up this product!

It takes some time to notice the difference (be patient and maybe take pictures). It should be used continually, but I think of it like another grooming product - just like frequent purchases of toothpaste or razor blades etc.

After trying rogaine foam for a few months I can Honesty say.... I have some hair back! While it's not back like when I was 20. There is definitely signs of hair growth I have not seen with other products. Give rogaine a try!

I am here to give a feedback about my experience with Rogaine. I have a hereditary hair loss. Searching online found that minoxidil is both FDA-approved and clinically proven to help hair regrowth. Rogaine has minoxidil in a foam form that makes daily application a lot-of-fun: easy to use, absorbs quickly, dries quickly. Fortunately, after 4 months, Rogaine works wonderfully with me. Rogaine regains my hair. The secret here is to apply Rogaine EVERY single day. I am very excited about this experience; and keep telling my family members, friends & co-workers about it. Definitely, I would recommend Rogaine, it is worth every penny. I would give it 10 out of 10. Thanks Rogaine, Thanks Home Tester. Nice day. Bye.

I bought the super saver package, 4 bottles of the foam, approximately one bottle per month. Per Rogaine, as I opened the 4th bottle (starting the 4th month of treatment), I should have started to see results. I see no results. What is more, I see less hair than before. I have applied it rigorously, as I wake up and as I go to bed, every day. No more than half a cap full, massaged on the scalp. I even cut my hair shorter, to avoid surrounding hair catching some of the foam, so the scalp is better exposed. No visible improvements have happened. I am 31, this was my one attempt at recovering my hair. I will go through with this last bottle, maybe I am "catching on" slower than others, and this apparent accelerated loss is only the temporary one Rogaine describes before the effect kicks in. But, per Rogaine's own instructions, this should have happened at some point during the 3rd month. I will note a few things. Rogaine states the product will not work unless it is a fairly circular, "regular" patch in your head's crown. My spot with thinning hair (technically not baldness), is irregular. Also, Rogaine states not to use it anywhere else in your head except the crown. I did use it for my receding hairline. It had the same effect, I seem to be losing hair quicker in the front too. Finally, I believe I read (not certain) that Rogaine works best in long, lower-count (read:caucasian-type) hair, whereas my hair is that typical of an African American. Perhaps my grading is harsh, but if I could say I kept the hair I had without negative effects, it would have been a wash, and value-wise, comparing Rogaine's own one-bottle price, the super saver is a good deal. But the bottom line for me is that, honestly, it seems to have done me more harm than good. Your mileage may vary.

It's helped with the crown of my head and even the vertexes to some extent. Minoxidil is one of the few products proven to help regrow hair. It's a small price to pay for helping to keep/regrow thinning hair.

Thin hair runs in my family and it makes it even more difficult having asthma and being on steroids. I was using the 2% for women for the longest time but then stop noticing results so I switched over to 5% and it has definitely made a difference. No more peach-fuzz growth, there is actual hair where I had none before. I can pull my hair up and feel confidence now and not look balding. I will say this, once you start using the Rogaine do not try to come off of it. You will lose all of your results. I've been using this product for about 3 years now, first to 2% and then the 5%. It makes a huge difference, little to no side effects and I would recommend it to anyone with thin hair even those with sensitive scalps such as myself. I have no problems with it whatsoever.

I do see some slight improvement though, but this is definitely a long term option. I am a little put off by the steps you need to take to even apply the product though.

This product is easy to apply and luckily no lingering odor. I have added using this as part of my nighttime routine. I started noticing new hair growth around the 4 week period after starting it. It was very exciting to see improvement so soon. My hair has started filling in where it was once thinning. I have not experienced any irritation or other side effects on my scalp. I will continue to use it daily. It feels wonderful to run my hand through thicker, fuller hair.

I'm 25 years old and have extremely thinning hair on my crown. I've been using rogaine for 4-5 months now, and saw results after 2 months. It's nothing drastic but enough that people no longer notice a slight bald spot. I feel a lot better going to interviews and conferences now. The only reason this product isn't 5/5 is because it doesn't work on the front of the scalp, just the crown.
