I've never tried anything from ponds before, but I know people ask for it at my job all the time. I gave it a try, but unfortunately, it had a pretty whale feel and a very strong smell. It was too fragrant for anything that I could do. The application was easy, and I'm sure that for anybody who was super dry, it would be fine. I love to layer my favorite products, but this was just too much to be layered with. In the desert climate that I live in, I'm sure it would be totally great for most people, but this one was definitely not for me.

The brand has been around for years and well known however I don't think the longevity of the moisturizer is all that great. I do appreciate how gentle it is for sensitive skin though. My husband gets very bad dry spots on his face during the cold weather and this product only moisturized the dry spots immediately after the shower and didn't last once we left the house so the longevity could definitely use some enhancement. Lastly, I didnt see that any residue is left behind whatsoever so that's great.

It's not, but it's so luxurious!! I love this face moisturizer but i will only use it at night because it is too heavy under my make up. It gives me so much hydration that it lasts all day! Absolutely love this.
