It's even a little too heavy for me for day time wear but I really like it for night time. It does have a "classic" smell so if you don't like that or are sensitive to fragrance, keep that in mind. The price point and availability also cannot be beat!

I can only use a little bit and only during nighttime because it leaves a layer of grease on skin. However, it's good as an occlusive top layer after a lightweight moisturizer and I also like it on my neck, chest, and hands. It really is very moisturizing, also very affordable so I have no guilt slathering it on my neck and hands. The smell is pleasant too.

I used to use their cold cream to remove makeup years ago when I used to apply heavy makeup for dance. It smells like that ro me which is a bit medicinal & floral. As much as I need moisture, this was just too heavy for me. It didn't make me break out, but I dealt like my skin was trying to sweat underneath the heaviness of it. I felt like I needed to wash off what remained, though you aren't supposed to. It was too dewy, too thick for my combination skin. Plus it's not a scent I want to constantly smell. Overall, it is super moisturizing & best if you have extremely dry skin. Even though this is a face cream I used it on dry patches on my elbows & feet & it helped!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Brass tacks, the Ponds creams I received were okay moisturizers, but nothing special and nothing that I would take over my own day-to-day moisturizers. The Dry Skin cream was too light for my liking. It did not absorb as well as my standbys, or even as well as the Pond's Wrinkle Cream I also received. I have been using this mainly as my gym bag moisturizer, something I can toss in my bag but won't be too put out I'd I forget it. I'm sure this would work well for someone else, but it just wasn't for me.
