great breast to bottle transition

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the formula I've been using w my little one since I've switched from breastfeeding to bottle feeding, I was worried about how it might affect her tummy, but surprisingly she took to it quite well, no tummy trouble from what I noticed, which is great for both if us! After breastfeeding for the first 7months of her life I wanted to pick a formula that I hoped wouldn't upset her belly too much, expecting there to be some kind of drawback from switching, but I eased her into it, and didn't notice any distress from my baby as far as her noticing a change so I think this one might be as close to breastmilk as I could get!..so far so good and this is the only formula I will use for her

Ready to use cans

Ready to use products in cans, once opened, makes them unsuitable for storage in the fridge. How is one supposed to close the can for storage? The lid often gets messy and it is not hygienic at all! Why can't you package ready to use formula in a package more suitable for storage like plastic bottle with a lid? I would love to get the answer on this question!! This is really annoying fact about enfamill products, and it is a serious disadvantage, that makes me want to switch brands.

Thanks so much for your feedback on our Ready to Use cans. I will pass your comments on to the appropriate area. We suggest washing the top of the can and opening with a clean punch-type opener. Once opened your formula can be stored in the original container if covered tightly with plastic wrap, or aluminum foil. The formula may also be stored in capped bottles or a tightly sealed container made of plastic or glass. I hope this helps and thanks again for your comments.

Ready to Go!

Amazing formula from the get go. My little one needed to supplement between feedings and this "ready to use" formula saved me. Specially at night when you're half asleep trying to make a quick bottle is a hassle, while this product is only pour and go.

I'm sure that this is a great formula, but my son did not do well on it. After about a week on the formula he developed colic. Mind you, this was after only consuming breast milk so the formula might have been hard on his stomach. It mixed well though and we did have clumps.

Baby loves this formula!

I started supplementing with this formula when my baby was a month old. It was a smooth transition from breastfeeding to bottle feeding with formula. I'm happy that she's now able to be fed by her father for bonding. She does need to be burped more, but other than that it's been extremely easy. It's also wonderful not having to worry about what water to use since it's premixed.

6 week old son

my son is 6 weeks old and about a week ago we had to change from similac sensitive soy based formula to regular enfamil due to my son being constipated or had a hard time passing stools this formula within a day he was pooping on his own. although it seems to be thinner and the formula runs right through him he is peeing more i cant keep a dry diaper on him, he does not burp very often which causes him to be gassy and fussy in the evenings which i may try the gentlease formula to see if that works. He has started to eat more ofter sometimes 4 ounces every 2 hours or 2.5 ounces every 2 hours because he does not burp. overall i think it is a good product and we have only been on it for a week but he needs something a little thicker i have even thought about trying the one for bedtime to see if that helps.

Quick fix!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I decided to change to liquid formula instead of the powder and it was the best decision I ever made for my baby. This eases the stress of having to prepare the water, powder then bottle. One quick step: POUR.

Great supplement!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby wasn't gaining enough weight during his first two weeks. His pediatrician recommended the NeuroPro formula as supplement to breastfeeding. Two weeks later my baby is back to a healthy weight and no issues with this formula!

Happy baby

Enfamil was introduced at the hospital, because Mom had no milk yet. Baby likes it ever since and now it supplements breast milk. Baby is energetic and healthy, has all the right nutrients. Only issue is not being able to warm the product after refrigerating it, limited life once bottle is open.

Thank you for the review! Prior to feeding a ready-to-use bottle, the contents may be divided for later use. Do not warm the ready-to-use bottle before dividing. Also, shake the bottle before opening to ensure the contents are well mixed. Pour the desired amount for feeding into a clean bottle. The product you are not using should be immediately covered and refrigerated (35-40 degrees Fahrenheit or 2-4 degrees Celsius) and used within 48 hours. If you want to warm a bottle that has been in the refrigerator, we suggest that you run warm tap water over the bottle or place it in a pan of hot, not boiling, water. Place the bottle in the water up to the collar of the nipple ring. Do not put the nipple in the water. Shake the container a few times while warming to evenly spread out the warmth. The warming time should not be more than 15 minutes. Test the temperature of the product before feeding; it should not feel warm or cold when dropped on your wrist. Warmed formula should be discarded within one hour – whether the bottle is fed or not.- Karen, Enfamil Expert
