All of my children were brought up on enfamil gentlease for their first year and the formula has served us well. The new package is awful! Very messy (pouring the pouches into containers) and very wasteful. We waste a lot of the formula in the transfer and you can see so much left in the pouch!! Formula is not cheap and it is maddening to waste this much "powdered gold" as we call it in our house! Even if you buy the can and not the pouches there is a pouch involved! VERY FRUSTRATING!!!

My son has been using this formula since he was 2 months old and he's 5 months old now. The formula we used before this one was causing my baby to break out in a light rash, develop a milk tongue and spit up large amounts of milk. We switched to Gentlease and immediately saw a difference. He is so much more comfortable and the milk tongue and rash went away.

Unfortunately, the circumstances didnt allow us to breast our second born at first. The hospital tried different formulas and this one was the one my second born took best. Luckily, he didnt have the same allergies as my first born.

That being said, it smells a bit different when mixing (and burping) than the other formulas we've used. Overall, we'll continue to use the product but I was a bit put-off by the smell at first.

My baby girl has really bad gas (I swear she got it from her daddy) and this formula definitely helped the problem! She has been on it since she was 6days old and she passes gas now with no problem!! She fussed like crazy when we got home from the hospital and after a little while of fussing she would toot so we swapped and within a few days she was passing gas without all the fussiness! Absolutely love this formula for that!

I bought this to use with the Lipil Premium, hoping it would help with my sons gas if nothing else. Mixed, it worked well, but when I weaned him into just the Gentleease, things got worse. Not only has his gas gotten worse, but he's started spitting up as well. He used to go every 3 hours for feedings but now makes it only 2 and still doesn't seem full. I would not recommend use of this as a primary supplement.

I will not use this product anymore, my baby broke out in acne and he haven't had it at first he was on the enfamil premium but he kept running off so they perfer gentlease and this milk is no good he had gas problems for days and he only make a bowel movement once a day, spitting up hours after he done ate

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My milk did not come in as strong as I needed for my baby so we have had to supplement with formula from day one. The hospital gave us some to start and it smelled bad and really upset baby's tummy. We switched to this brand and it had helped with the discomfort. The individual 8oz bottles are great because I can take them in the diaper bag easily. Thank you!

There is nothing gentle about this. It made my 3 month old infants poop like clay and he had to be placed on medication to poop. It was awful! He couldn't even drink his milk he was so bloated just after a couple of days. We tried for 2 weeks and threw it away, reguline formula was much better. I don't know why but I see on many forums Care givers complaining about this and that their baby had thick green stool. Never again.

I use this product for my son on a regular basis. He is three months old, and when he was born we started him on a different formula. But when he was on that he wasn't having number 2 diapers everyday, he had non stop gas, pain, and spitting up/puking. Putting him on Enfamil Gentlease was the smartest thing I could have done for my son. Now he goes everyday, has less gas and pain, and doesn't spit up as much. Thank you Enfamil for helping me help my little angel!
