I primarily breastfeed my 11 week old daughter, but my milk supply has been slowly decreasing. I decided to start supplementing and tried Enfamil Gentlease first (I received as a sample from Enfamil) because my daugther is gassy. This formula was horrible for her. She immediately became MORE gassy and it constantly made her cry in pain. She also became constipated. Still looking for the right formula for her... Every baby is different, so I hope this works well for someone else's baby.

Our newborn baby daughter was spitting up and having major hiccups and gas with Lipil Premium so we thought we'd try Gentlease. Big big mistake. Within a few hours of her first bottle she was having thin watery stools. We had to change her diaper almost every hour that first day. We stuck with the Gentlease because we spent so much on the big tub and thought maybe she just needed to get used to the new formula. By the second night she was crying like crazy and we couldn't get her to sleep. The next morning we checked her bum to see a bright red, painful, bumpy diaper rash. Her pediatrician said it was one of the worst she's ever seen and told us to try Triple Paste to alleviate her symptoms. After 3 more days of crying and changing her diaper constantly we gave up on Gentlease. Going back to Lipil Premium solved everything. She still gets bad hiccups and is fussy from time to time, but the rash is gone and that's all that matters at this point. We're very disappointed in Enfamil. We've contemplated switching to Similac and may do so in the very near future. We hope no one else goes through this with their child. It was hard for us seeing baby girl in so much pain.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The way I found out about this formula was when my baby was born is what the hospital offers and my baby wasn't able to breast-feed so this was my second choice and I love it! So dose my baby. He has gained 2 pounds and it's a month old he has had no problems with this formula.

When my daughter was born, my fiancé breast fed her probably 80% of the time, unless one of our family members had to watch her which we used a different brand at first, but we noticed every time someone watched her and she drank from the bottle she had TERRIBLE GAS, REFLUX, AND ABDOMINAL pain. we then decide to switch to the Enfamil NeuroPro, and it changed hers and our lives for the better! all the gas and pain stopped! thank you Enfamil!

I decided to give my 1 month old son this formula last week to give myself a rest from breastfeeding. Worst decision ever! We were finally starting to sleep better through the night and this formula has RUINED IT! I write this after being up with my screaming and gassy son since 1am. The sun is up! This formula has only made him have worse tummy problems. Skeptical if I'll ever use ANY Enfamil formula ever.

I switched to this from the regular neuropro, and noticed an immediate change in my son. He was way less fussy, and smiled way more. He stopped getting gassy, and in turn less cranky. I definitely recommend trying this if your baby seems to be fussy.

When my son was 2 weeks old he started his first formula, Good Start Plus and had problems! He was very fussy all the time and threw up. I then put him on Gentlease and he has been a completely different baby since then! He's a very happy healthy baby! He is now 4 months old and is growing, gaining weight, and hitting all his milestones perfectly! He also has regular, normal bowl movements and sleeps well at night. I love this product!

After two weeks of breastfeeding I had to stop, which upsetted myself and my husband. We started her on the Enfamil Lipil (that is what they gave in the hospital to supplement with breastfeeding because she was jaundice). Almost 24 hours of starting primarily the Lipil, she became very fussy and was screaming an awful shrill. She wasn't passing any gas at all and had no bowel movements within a 24 hours period. I called her pediatrician who suggested to start her on the Gentleease and after a couple of feedings she finally slept. The only thing I see differently than the Lipil is that her feedings are more frequent and have not changed. She is demanding to be fed every 2-3 hours and at night she might go 4. She is finally taking 3-4 ounces (She is 5 weeks old) and hopefully she can sleep longer. She does have alot of gas and is only having one BM a day. The gas doesn't seem to bother her, but I am calling her pediatrician tomorrow to see if it is ok.

This is an amazing formula. I was breastfeeding my daughter until 5 months when she had to switch to formula for medical reasons. She took to the formula so well and is such a great baby. She hardly ever gets gas and sleeps from 7-7. cant get much better. Also doesn't smell bad. Some formulas smell so bad, I wouldn't want to drink them myself, I won't have my daughter drinking it either. Doesn't stain either another great con! Very satisfied!!!

We originally had free samples of different formulas to try. Ultimately, Enfamil's Neurpro Gentlease ended up being our baby's favorite of everything. He's happy and healthy, and we believe it's because of the formula which he needed due to his mother being unable to produce enough milk.
