When my son was born I was unable to breastfeed due to a lack of supply, and regular infant formulas made him extremely fussy. He would go stiff and cry for about an hour after each feeding no matter what we did. Our nurse suggested switching his formula to one that had partially broken down proteins as he may have had a lactose sensitivity and it would be easier for him to digest. We tried Gentlease and immediately the feeding issues we had been experiencing stopped. Now at 12 weeks he no longer cries after feeding, and has no more spit up than breastfed babies his age.

We actually saw an increase in gas after a few days on this one and have never smelled such strong gas from a baby. Even her godmother, a childcare professional with two children of her own, was shocked it came from her after actively searching for dog poop! Towards the end of the big can she was inconsolable and could not stop passing gas. We threw the rest out and went to a competing Sensitive formula with much better results. The formula itself does not smell as bad either.

My baby was fussy at the same time every night at 4 weeks old for a couple of weeks. We switched from Enfamil Premium to Enfamil Gentlease and he turned into a new little guy. He is now 14 weeks old and all around very happy and content. Has been since we switched formula's!

We started our baby on breastmilk but had to supplement with formula. The MD recommended enfamil newborn. At 2 weeks we were using only formula. Didnt realize until later, but about this time the baby started being fussy, hard to console, up and down a lot. From 2 weeks to 1 month we just dealt with it, until I was exhausted from his screaming. It was also obvious the poor thing was in pain (bloated belly, arched back, grimaces). I looked online for other forumlas. Within 2 days of using gentlease we could tell a difference. Our baby would actually sit contently in a swing, etc without crying and wanting to be held! He has been on it for about 2 weeks now. He still has some fussy times, sometimes still lasting a couple of hours, but overall much better. Often when he is gassy, it seems to pass pretty quickly. He also burps easier. The poo diapers are pretty stinky though! And, he has some powerful gas now- often mistake it for a poo.

Absolutely, love this product! My son is a month old he was on the Similac advance and had one of the recalled containers, which prior to that he was having issues from it of constipation and also cramping. I was very unhappy with the product and also the consistancy was to thick in my opinion, along with the nasty reason it was recalled. He was switched to Enfamil GentelEase for constipation , since then he has had regular BMs and has not been fussing his belly seems as if it feels so much better. Thank you Enfamil for the wonderful formula!!!

I used this formula for most of my babies and they did fine with it. It helped because 2 of my five kids had sever reflux and gas issues. I really just started most of my kids out on this particular variation because it was easier for them to digest and I wanted to use something I knew worked. Switching formulas to find the right one can really mess with a baby's tummy.

His burps are excellent with it too! He was in the nicu for 8 days so they started him on this, and we've stayed on it ever since! He's 4 months old now 

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As new parents in the hospital, I chose the regular neuropro enfamil formula but realized my daughter got super fussy in between feeds. We switched to this and it's been a lifesaver. She's a much happier baby and we love that we can take this product on the go with no worries!

My 8 month old has been using Gentlease Premium since he was born. He has been doing wonderfully on it! No issues whatsoever. Now that all the stores are discontinuing "Premium" I switched the "Neuro Pro". Worst thing I could have done. Now he is projectile vomiting with each bottle. Stock up on "Premium" if you can. This "Neuro Pro" stuff is straight up garbage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My newborn is probably lactose intolerance. When we feed her regular formula she would have super gassy stomach with poor stool quality. When we switched to this formula it really saved my baby's stomach. Although she would still have a gassy stomach but it's much less than before.
