I had always told my son that these were candy bars. So his whole life he never knew the difference. Middle school eventually rolled around and with the help of his friends, he figured out they were not candy bars. The great news is, he still prefers granola bars!

The Quaker Chewy Dips have the perfect amount of oats and chocolate. It is the kids first request for the once a day sweet treat in their lunch box. They love having chocolate as a snack and I love that these Quaker bars are a healthy snack that I don't feel guilty about!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Few months ago I picked up a box of Quaker Chewy Dipps and I so so impressed. The only trouble I have is eating them slowly..lol. I just love them with each bit is perfect just like the bite before. The chocolate is smooth and the quaker oats are perfect also not too hard nor to soft. Each bite is not lacking in any of my favorite things.

These have clearly changed over the last 25 to 30 years. I remember these being bigger and actually tasted more like a candy bar with a nice chocolate on the outside. Now they are probably half the size and the chocolate on the outside does not taste like chocolate, I will not buy these again. They’re just not the same.

I have Diabetes and also a huge sweet tooth. Quaker Chewy Dipps satisfies my sweet tooth as well as providing me with the benefits of the oats for my health. I carry them in my purse for those times when my blood sugar is low and I walk by the candy and cookie stands in the Shopping Mall. I eat a Chewy Dipps and can continue my shopping. I love the consistency of the bar which provides me with a feeling of fullness and the flavor is just sweet enough to calm my craving for sugar.

Even though the label says only 7 sugar, this bar tastes much sweeter. IT also has 17 carbs and only 1 fiber. I would think that an oatmeal bar could have more fiber ?? The other thing I look for in a bar is ample protein.... again, low in this bar. I try to stay away from candy... and this falls into that category for me .

They are so tiny now. Haven't bought them in a while and now they have shrunk by probably 20% or so. The wrapper is the same size but the bar doesn't even come close to filling it anymore. I guess that's how they make more money by giving less product for the same price. Or more sine the price has gone up since the last time we bought them.

I buy the Quakeroats Chewy Dipps Granola Bar for my teenage son. They are the perfect for the backpack. He packs one in the morning to take with him to have a snack during the school day. He also brings them with him to his wrestling meets to give him extra energy between matches. He loves how they taste! My husband enjoys them as well.

A lot of the reviews are saying that it tastes great for something that is good for you. But it contains 13 grams of sugar, about a third of your recommended daily intake. And only 4% of your daily fiber. This is a candy bar. It is a sweet treat, not a nutritional food, and not something to eat instead of a healthy meal.

I thought, when I finally decided to purchase the granola bars, "Another granola bar, but it's a Quaker Oats brand, so I will take it." I am more than happy about that choice. Quaker Oats granola bars are wonderful! One can purchase a one flavor package or, a variety pack. In either choice the result is the same....delicious!
