This is the Sauce to Use For Pasta.

I'm giving this sauce five stars! I made my homemade spaghetti with meat sauce using Hunts. My whole family loved my spaghetti with meat sauce. I would recommend Hunts Tomato Sauce if you're looking for a non-acidic tomato sauce and I even went back for seconds. My past sauces never came out as good as this one. I won't be going back to a store brand sauce. Thank you Hunts. Keep up the good work.

Great fresh taste for a canned sauce. Thank you.

I had Hunts as a kid and I'm 79. I recently bought it again to make spaghetti sauce from scratch and both my family and I were delighted. Of course, as the COOK in my house, I add spices and stewed tomatoes to it to suit my taste and the tastes of my family. I was delighted to taste tihs beautifully blended tomato sauce and for the first time in years, had requests for MORE MOM. Those that don't like it, probably expect miracles from plain sauce without spices. YOU HAVE TO ADD YOUR OWN SPICES TO YOUR TASTE. Hunts can't do it for you. It took me back to my childhood, and I'm thankful it's all natural with no HFC or additives.THANK YOU HUNTS!

Hunts Tomato sauce and whole tomatoes are bad now

I've used Hunts whole tomatoes and tomato sauce for decades. I will no longer use Hunts as they are horrible now. I don't know why you try to change something that was great.

Go back to the original recipe if tomatoes & salt!

I wish that I had kept a can of this sauce when it listed the ingredients as “tomatoes & salt”. I spoke with customer service, & the rep said that Hunt's is trying to be more ‘transparent' & list all the ingredients instead of just “spices”. IT NEVER SAID SPICES! My family had been buying this product since it was marketed. GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL RECIPE! Why would anyone want a tomato sauce to which someone has already added spices???

Not going to purchase

This tomato sauce is on sale by the case at a local supermarket and I had it on my grocery list. I came to the website to check the ingredients. After reading the reviews about how it has changed and how awful it is now, I'll be buying a different brand, even if slightly more expensive. Too bad!

Where's the tomato?

Where's the "tomato" in the sauce?

I recently purchased some cans of Hunts "tomato" sauce and noticed the word "tomato" was no longer on the label. When I opened it at home, it was more like tomato juice then sauce. It seems to have more water than before; it was watery and not very flavorful. I'm now buying a different brand that is still able to list it as "tomato sauce" on their label. Very disappointed in this change in Hunt's product!

Change in sauce recipe

I am not sure what Hunts has done to their tomato sauce, but I have used it for 40 years and something recently changed and it tastes terrible! I can't quite put my finger on it, but it is definitely different and effects my chili recipe, my spaghetti sauce recipe . . . They all taste completely different. After 40 years, I will be trying new sauces and trying to find a replacement. I am so sad, as this sauce is the one my Mother used and I loved it up until recently. I hope you change it back to the old recipe. It really is not good anymore. A very loyal, but disappointed customer.

Tastes like formaldehyde

It tasted so bad I had to rinse the sauce off of my spaghetti, I couldn't eat it. It tastes like chemicals with a side of tomato sauce, I wish I was exaggerating. I can't afford to throw out food, I just ate some moldy garlic bread, but I can't bring myself to eat this sauce.

Hunt's new sauces will ruin your food

Hunt's spaghetti sauce and tomato paste were my favorite which I used for cooking various pasta dishes. Recently pasta meals I cooked using Hunt's tasted horrible. I thought maybe it was my cooking error. It kept happening every time I cooked with Hunt's. I decided to Google search to see if something was going on with Hunt's sauces. I find that Hunt's changed their sauces. I now have two cases of Hunt's tomator paste, and around 10 cans of Hunt's spaghetti sauce which are useless because if I use them they will only ruin my meal. I don't know what to do now because Hunt's WAS the best to me. It has been a couple months now that I have had to force down miserable tasting pasta dishes because I have been thinking it was my cooking. Irks me to learn that Hunt's ruined their products. Why did Hunt's do this? Competition for tomatoes? Selling the better ingredients elsewhere and giving us the junk? How about an explanation from Hunt's? It is not merely a change of flavor, it is a complete change to poor quality product.
