We bought the 120 ct. snack size sticks a few months ago and and they tasted fine so we decided to try the monster size this time and they didn't taste right. Did the recipe change? Not really spicy, just kind of plain, maybe a little old tasting but expiration date is not till Jan. 27th of 2024.

I purchased the product to resell to convenience stores. I shipped me product with a 4-week expiration date on it. Not acceptable! Had to return to my local Sam's Club For Credit.

The somewhat spicy burning feeling that these left in my mouth and on my lips is something that won't make me buy these again soon, since I have had a lot tastier beef sticks than these before. This of course is something very personal, the taste that is ! The strange thing I also do have to mention though, is the fact that on the box it's stated that there are 18 monster sticks in a box but my box had only 17 sticks in them ! Yes, I did count this right, IT'S ODD, seventeen in this box !! Some people might not believe this, but this odd thing that happened is true and I felt I had to mention it.

Thought these were the same thing I usually will grab at a quick and go store. NASTY. You bite into them and the texture at first makes you think your eating the slim Jim, but then once you start chewing you realize that the "meat" your eating is of the texture of pureed meat and not the usual chewy taste of a meat stick. Will not buy these again.

My husband and son, who normally love meat sticks, couldn't eat more than a bite and threw the rest out. They refuse to try it again. So...that was a big waste of money, but there were no other meat sticks available during this quarantine. If you know you like Slim Jim's, maybe it's fine. My husband hadn't had a Slim Jim in years & son never had, but they usually aren't picky.

I'm afraid I'm addicted to these things!! I enjoy at least one a day. It's becoming difficult to find them in my local Meijer as well as my local Walmart. Much of the time, they're sold out which is unacceptable to me!! Even Amazon, where I have a monthly subscription for a box of 18 to be shipped to me has informed me that they're out of stock!!! I must not be the only one addicted!!! I was thrilled to see that I can order the 18 count box online!!! Please don't stop selling them in bulk!!!!!
