These bags are easy to open and close. They protect food well in the freezer! I definitely prefer something I can reuse, such as a container, but when I really need a zip top bag, these are perfect! I would recommend.

We ocean fish a lot I put enough for a meal add a small amount of water and freeze. Our fish always tastes fresh and saves money on fancy sealing machines

We use the galling size freezer bags for different storage purposes. These are great for packing while traveling, storing food, or just for everyday uses. They are very durable but also easy enough for kids to use and get into (if needed.)

We have a deep freezer and we use it. Buying meat in bulk and freezing in portions is perfect for these bags. I have not experienced freezer burn when using Ziploc. Only brand our household uses.

I can live without freezer bags. I use the Ziplock brand exclusively. The quality is important to me - it keeps freezer burn away! More expensive than discount brands but it's worth paying more to get a bag that performs well.
