The stay open feature is terrible. I have been looking for the regular freezer gallon bags and it seems they all have been converted to this new feature. I will be searching for a different brand bag.

I use the freezer bags for just about everything. They seem a little bit stronger then the non freezer bags. I try to make sure I always have some on hand.

I use Ziplocs at home and at school. They are good for packing meat in the fridge or freezer. I also use them at school for my students to transport their library books back and forth. They always last.

I have bought 2 boxes of the 1 gallon storage bags, separately, and have the same problem. I simply cannot open a bag without a lot of effort, and most of the time, the bag rips. Very dissatisfied.
