Oldie but goodie.

Sure, I would love to buy a wheel of parm, grate it fresh as I need - but it would be cheaper to buy a new house. And, yes, there are other brands that are good. But I have never bought a jar of Kraft Parmesan that was not good. It lasts well if refrigerated. Tastes great in things [salads, burgers, eggs] or on things [salads, burgers, eggs :) ]

What happened?

I grew up with this product and used it for decades before switching to "fresh" parmesan. Bought this to have on hand and it is NOT the Kraft Parmesan I remember. Tastes artificially flavored (synthetic Italian seasoning?) now and has no distinct parm flavor or sharpness. Terribly disappointing. Anyone who remembers the original or who has ever tried real Parmesan cheese (fresh) would hate this as I do. It's revolting. Shame on Kraft for pulling a bait and switch on their loyal customers.

3 times the topper

We are shameless cheese lovers at my house. We would use the 8oz grocery store brand to save over the brand name. When I discovered that Sam's carries this 24oz option for just a couple more dollars than I was spending & it's KRAFT? What? Never again will I waste my money on the other stuff. We put this on top of garlic bread prior to toasting. It gets sprinkled on a bowl of soup or salad. Topper for mac & cheese & casseroles. Go for it!

Oldie but goodie

An old school staple, still relevant. Is it the most chi-chi cheese? lol, NO... but it helps me make Keto friendly breading when mixed with Pork Rind panko. That works for me. Taste is fine, pretty much just adds a salty taste & a bit of binding to my breading, Keto Meatloaf, etc.

The standard

Not being Italian and appreciating the finer points of freshly grated and premium grades, this is the only one I've ever bought and know for over 30 years. Its good. Frankly, I've gotten to buy on price and the generic are cheaper, so I'm now buying generic which is also fine by my non-discriminating standards (The wife put this in the cart when I wasn't looking). Nothing negative to say about it, but not paying for "Kraft" name.

Smile and Say "Cheese!"

I serve as part time Kitchen Assistant at our local parish church. Monthly staff lunches are festive. December's theme was Italian. Kraft Grated Parmesan Cheese was a major ingredient and garnish for many dishes. Also at the table, many piled it on as it is so reliably the best.

Tasty & Convenient

Great in alfredo sauce. I tried shredded parmesan, & also a wedge I had to shred, but the cheese seemed to thicken the same once melted & tasted the same. The grated version is less expensive & more convenient to use & store, so I switched back to Kraft's grated parmesan cheese. It's also good on garlic toast & on top of dishes w/marinara sauce.

the familiiar parmesan taste

kraft has been at this a long time. the quality stands out. it would be a 5 star product except that there are some regional specialties (italy) that are truly exceptional, but cost 4 times as much. growing up in the us, kraft parmesan is what parmesan tastes like. while i enjoy many store brand products by walmart, in my opinion, kraft tastes better.

Manufacturers finally get it right!

I am so glad someone at Kraft is listening to their customers. My household doesn't use much parmesan cheese, but the smallest container was already too big. It spoiled faster than we could use it. But, now this container fits perfectly in the refrigerator and will be utilized as fresh as possible!

Another WalMart winner

The larger bottle of this product is the one I usually buy in the store, but it was out of stock online. Social distancing has meant that many others are stocking up on products, rather than go to the store. I'm grateful I was able to obtain this size, as it is great.
