Unlike fish oil, there is no fishy taste or fishy burps. In fact the casing on the capsules has a nice sweet flavor. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The MegaRed Superior Omega-3 Krill Oil Softgels Extra Strength were very easy to open and they are very easy to swallow. Some Omega-3 soft gels are so large that they're painful to swallow. These MegaRed softgels are of a smaller size which is nice. No problems at all when swallowing. The box is informative and thoroughly explains the benefits. So far, I can't really feel any difference from taking them but I feel better knowing I'm helping my body by taking them.

I tried them just before going to bed. It does not matter I end up tasting nothing but old nast fish and constant burping. I never burp like this. I gave it almost two weeks and even though the bottle was a free sample I can't find anything nice to say. I wish they didn't have such intolerable side effects because I know it is a very healthy supplement.

They are a good quality and they are effective. My Dr. recommended that I take fish oil. Fish oil is great but sometimes a fish taste comes up. But with these, it's so nice not to have that problem. Best of all they are effective.
