reliable, knife is sharp. the rounded box cutter I actually used a lot more than I thought I would. I have a lot of leatherman tools and this one would be the cheapest I have but the one I use around the house the most. for the price you can't beat it especially that this is usually priced at $44 everywhere else without the sheath. the sheath alone is $20 .
