Good feature set & documentation

Unpacked and setup per the comprehensive and easy to follow manual (an actual paper booklet user manual - very useful), the generator started up first time without issue (propane). Going through the running in period - so far, so good. The generator also came with a basic toolkit - a nice touch.

Easy setup

Just received this inverter today so I can't speak of how well it will last but it was very easy to setup and get running. I ran it for about an hour on light loads and it preformed great. It is extremely quiet compared to my old generator. I'm very pleased with my purchase so far.

Worth every penny!

We were in search of a reliable generator after the last hurricane that hit Florida. Although we didn't get a direct hit, it's still caused mass power outages for days. This generator has all of the bells and whistles that we needed for our home. We love the fact it has a remote start and a CO2 sensor. I highly recommend this brand of generators.

All the features I wanted

I live in SE Michigan, and we loose power on a regular bases. Have an old 5000 watt gen. Wanted something bigger to run the whole house, clean A/C voltage, dual fuel option, electric start. My shoulder is not what it used to be. When I purchased gen. battery was not charged enough to start gen. But pull starting was still easier than my old one. Went thru break in period, then powered house. Happy so far. Now only need to put in a transfer switch, that will tie in my AC. Then really put a load on the gen. and see how she does. I know the wife will be happy to have AC when we loose power in the summer.

Quite while powering the house - so far so good

I picked up the iGen111000DFc. It was in a box on a small pallet. The packaging was sufficient, and assembly was quick and easy. After running through the initial break in run I connected this to my house propane tank and RV plug that goes to the electrical panel. I flipped the lockout on the breaker panel and tested it powering the house. It runs everything well without bogging down. I previously calculated the total necessity load on the panel, and it is a little under 8kW with everything intended on. So it works for me. We already had a power outage just weeks after getting this set up. It was quick and easy to power on, switch over the breaker, and back to having power in the house.

Solid initial evaluation

I have only used this for about 1 hours. I assembled it which was straightforward. Quality seems good. Ran good. Hooked it up to my 50 amp generator sub panel and ran it up to about 50% power on propane, no issues. I obviously cannot comment on long term durability or fuel efficiency but so far so good. Only negative I could say so far is that some of the fittings on the propane regulator/hose were loose, but that's understandable. Also, the propane tubing is too short in my opinion.

Great generator at a great price!

I compared this to a well-known competitor's Inverter Generator, and this has: * More Starting and Running Wattage * A 50A plug * 3 year warranty vs 90 day for the other competitor's generator * Lower Price Plus--this comes with every single thing you need to get it running (aside from fuel), included in the box. Lastly, this is the quietest generator I've ever owned, including the three other Westinghouse generators I've owned or still own.

So Far, So Good

Boght this a few weeks ago as replacement for my CAT 5500. I wanted a quieter solution with enough power to run my 3 1/2 TON Home AC. I'm still running the break-in. But so far, I'm impressed. Setup was pretty easy and takes about 30 minutes or less.

Great Inverter Generator

Ran great for more than 5 hrs. Was really impressed with how quiet it is compared to the open frames I've had in the past. I did have a problem finding the serial number to register it but guessed at the number on the model number placard. Overall, very happy and would highly recommend this generator.

Best Choice

I just purchased this portable unit and am truly impressed with the ease of use and engineering applied to the generator. After having evaluated several manufacturers, this inverter represented the best choice for my residential emergencies that includes several power options of wattage output and alternate fuels.
