Best Purchase/Easy to Use

Bought this generator to get ready for the ice storm; thank goodness we didn't lose electricity but still connected it to our RV to get it nice and warm inside. Super easy to start and even easier to pull from one place to another with the big wheels it has on it.

iGen 11000TFC Inverter Generator

I purchased this 2 weeks ago as an upgrade to power my house. I had the iGen 4500DF and loved it. So far the 11000TFC is great with all of the features I need. I haven't put it through its entire paces yet, but will do so shortly. I did contact customer care on a non-issue related matter and they were quick to respond and in the U.S.!! Such a pleasure.

igen 11000DFc

I have a igen4500 and love it. I was looking to use it to run 2 space heaters and a few snake cages during emergencies. I then realized biggest rule for generators is to make sure you don't get one that has to run at 80-100% of full capacity. Not only does fuel efficiency go way down but so does lifespan and noise level of generator. I debates on another igen4500 and parallel them or a Predator 9500. I watched some videos of parallel generators and even though power is there, noise level is much louder than just one big one. I have close neighbors....not worried about bothering them but letting them/anyone else know that I have one. So far this thing is AWESOME! If you have a igen4500 it is just its big brother. I was very impressed on how quiet it is. Also the compartments for adding oil or draining carb are so easy to get to. No nuts to unscrew, just twist the lock and pull clips. The carb already has drain tube and so does oil. After adding oil and non ethanol gas, it fired right up. Still in break in process but 2 hours in and great. Don't pay extra for less rated power from other brands. This has more power and cheaper, looks better and excellent options. I couldn't find any reviews on this model so hope this one helps.

Great unit-nice operating and maintenance features

Just bought this and ran it for 2 hours to break in. Very impressed. All tools needed to assemble are high quality. Easy assembly. Much quieter than a regular generator, stable power, on-off switches/breaker for the 30R and 50R receptacles, covers for receptacles, remote start, displays gas fuel level and estimate of run time remaining. Also many nice features for ensuring it will work when needed and to ease maintenance such as included batter tender and port, attached oil drain hose, attached carburator bowl drain hose. Only minor complaint is that the wheels could be a little wider to ease rolling on my gravel driveway.

Excellent home backup generator!

I'm extremely happy with this Westinghouse generator. It's very well built, easy to assemble, and straightforward to use right out of the box. During a power outage it had no problem powering my house, which gave me a lot of peace of mind. I was also impressed that even the included tools are solid and useful, not cheap throw-ins. On top of all that, I received a free upgrade to the tri-fuel version, which made an already great purchase even better. Highly recommend this generator for reliability, quality, and overall value.

Great choice for home power backup or large RV.

Bought this for home back-up power after a friend showed me his one day at camp site. I wanted 240 volt option for ease of house hook-up. I've used it once since I purchased in November and it worked flawlessly on propane fuel, powering my home with wood boiler heat, well pump and all appliances during a power failure. Would highly recommend!

Very Useful and Great Features!

I bought the iGen11000TFc to serve as a whole-home backup during storm season, and it has exceeded every expectation. The tri-fuel capability is a game changer; being able to switch between gasoline, propane, and natural gas gives me such peace of mind when gas stations are closed. It handled my AC unit, fridge, and lights without breaking a sweat. It's surprisingly quiet for its size, and the remote start works flawlessly every time. Worth every penny for the security it provides my family.

Awesome generator

Just bought this generator after the 2026 ice storm where we were without power for 5 days. Have a couple of smaller generators we used to power heaters, charge phones, etc. plan for this one is to add the connections to be able to selectively run all critical circuits during power failures.

great performance

I bought this in September 2025, Its now Feb of 2026. So far it has worked great, the oil changes are easy enough with an oil pump as they are frequent (Weekly ) if you live full time in an RV like I do. I love the remote start and I plan to explore AutoStart options with some kits out there. Currently I am in a situation where the pull handle through no human interaction became disconnected 3.5" down on the rope. This was a very loud bang followed by a metal tinkling sound in the generator housing. I have submitted a ticket to Westinghouse on Saturday morning, it's Friday, I am just finally able to register my product tot eh website, and I guess someone will try to help me get it repaired. Overall, I like the design, seems to run well for me at about 3.5Gal per day providing 12-15k watts. Far more efficient than my Onan 5500, but not as quiet. This one isn't bad, it keeps to the low db promise around 60db. It's heavier than you think it is, and after moving it from place to place to fuel up, I moved it near our fuel station and bought the cover. This unit is overall very well designed and it starts with the assembly tools and goes right to teh oil drain, although, that takes a long time, thus the 12v pump.

Impressed with features.

Bought it to replace my "old" ONAN Pro6000. Used it briefly today to check it out and was pleased. Have not tried it on Propane yet or used it under a load. If it performs as well as advertised it will get a 5 star rating. It is very quiet (compared to my ONAN), easy cranking. The only negative thing I found was no inline gasoline shut-off that would allow me to run all gasoline from the carburetor after each use.
