Surface cleaner was defective..2 wheels were set too low for easy gliding of the washer. I removed the wheels and added 2 washers and it raised the wheels so the black shield material did not catch on the driveway. Also one of the wheel supports was bent so I was able to straighten it. The cleaner works great now.

I am suitably impressed. I have a Simpson 3100psi power washer with the Honda GC190 engine. I also have a big driveway, and I power washed it the other day using an old 15" spray disc with no wheels. By the time I was halfway finished I'd already decided to save my back and buy a spray disc with wheels- preferably 4 since I was worried about dropping a wheel off the sidewalk or into an expansion joint and I assumed a 3-wheeler would get high-centered with only 2 wheels on the ground. So I picked out this 16.5" Westinghouse. When it arrived, I wanted to try it but with the driveway recently completed I had nothing left to clean; so to the amusement of my neighbors, I went out and power washed the street in front of my house- years and years of concentrated dirt. To compound things, my neighbor on the uphill side (God bless him) had decided to spray all the mud and muck off his sidewalk and into the street, which flowed downhill and settled nicely in the gutter area in front of my house as well. So all in all, it was a nice test. Here are my impressions: First, this thing is heavy. You can lift it ok when attached to the wand but I can't imagine trying to lift it when using the extensions that come with it. Second, this thing rolls like a dream. It rolls forward and back and sideways with almost no effort and changes direction with no hesitation. I was frankly surprised, since this is what I was hoping for when I gave up on my old disc in the first place. It rolls so easily it kept trying to roll away from the natural crown in the street and bump into my curb (it's heavy, remember?). I learned to compensate my strokes, and after a while we got along fine. Third, it does a fair job at removing dirt. Thin layers of dirt in the street came up in one pass, but as the dirt thickened and became darker I had to run over it 4-5 times, and even then it didn't get all of it. For those spots I went back over it with the green 25 degree nozzle, and it still only came up with difficulty. It is rated to 4400psi - perhaps if my machine was more stout I'd be writing different words here. But I suppose there's a balancing act going on - more power, jets closer to the ground, etc. would make dirt removal better but it would also etch my concrete driveway more. As it is I think this disc and my driveway will become fast friends. I do recommend it, even with the weight.

I just received the PWSC12 12" surface cleaner. While I haven't had a chance to put it to work, it appears to be robust and well made. I especially like the brass nozzles. I also like the solid brush skirt that is about an inch long as it contains no gaps between the bristles. The wand connection seems solid with no play where it connects to the main unit--this indicates to me that there will be no leakage at this junction. The only surprise was the little cleaning tool that was included for the nozzles--I almost missed it as it was just laying in the bottom of the shipping box. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase so far and I can't wait to give it a go on my patio, sidewalk and garage floor.

We had been cleaning our driveway and sidewalks using just the pressure washer wand. It was slow and messy. The 16.5 inch surface cleaner is easy to connect and rolls easily on the cement. We used it with a 3200 psi, 2.4 gpm pressure washer and it cleaned the cement well.

We bought the 16.5 inch Surface Cleaner made by Westinghouse and this accessory will speed up our horizontal surface cleaning projects. The dual pressure washer heads spin and the unit glides on hard rubber wheels to move over sidewalks, walkways and decks. The washer heads are positioned optimally to spin at a fixed distance from the surface to be cleaned.

I used a 3400 PSI sprayer. It cleaned a 16.5 inch swath. I went over each stroke twice. It has a skirt that covers the distance from the ground to the edge of the sprayer. It kept all of the back spray inside. The skirt performed outstanding and exceeded my expectations. This is a must have attachment. I would buy again.

I really like this power washer over the gas one I had. Too much messy oil and gas and difficult to start. It has about the same amount of power as the gas one. I don't mind transporting the electric washer because I don't worry about leaking fluids.

So much faster to clean concrete than using spray nozzle. Tougher jobs you have to go over a couple of times. I recommend using an extended wand so you don't have to bend over. I should have taken before and after photos but didn't think about it until after. Concrete pad toward bottom of the photo is the older slab when house was build and we added to it later so that is why two different colors.

This unit is very easy to use, I Have a Honda 4000 psi pressure washer and it works great with it. The Wheels makes a huge difference, I had a 15" non wheel cleaner and it works good also, but the Westinghouse cleaner take only a 1/4 of the time to do the same job. Highly recommend to others !!!!

I originally bought your 12" surface cleaner but had to return it as it was leaking water all over the place and the wand would stop rotating shortly after using it...too many weak plastic pieces and seals! It was a disappointment but I upgraded to your 15" surface cleaner with the brass/metal fittings onboard and it is MUCH more durable and no problems so far so I'm very happy. However, I do need to tell you to please redesign your 12" surface cleaner as it is of poor quality design and I can't see it lasting long for anyone so you'll have a lot of disappointed customers.
