Customer reviews for LG 48" Class OLED evo C6 Series 4K Smart TV forBest TV I've owned!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded to an 83" C5 after owning a 65" B8 for 7+ years, which we still love. What an amazing TV.. we will always buy LG moving forward. Best picture I've seen and setup is a breeze, even a seperate AVR receiver. Maybe in a few years I'll be ready for an even bigger size screen!

Overall a very good tv. Wish it had a mute button.
We recently purchased this tv. The picture is excellent. The sound has several options for settings. I would say it is probably better than our previous 9 year old tv but it is different so it takes a little getting used to. One thing I wish the remote had is a dedicated mute button. On the LG remote you use the volume control to mute the tv. Sometimes it may come back to the previous volume but usually not.
Hi Rick, we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts on the LG OLED55C5PUA. It’s wonderful to hear that the vibrant picture and flexible sound settings have elevated your viewing experience compared to your previous TV. Your note about the remote and mute function is valuable feedback, and we’ll be sure to pass it along to our product team. Love this TV
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been hesitant to pull the trigger on an OLED for our main living room because we have a lot of windows, and I was always worried it would look too dim during the day. After reading about the 2025 models, I finally decided to grab the 65” LG C5, and wow—I genuinely don’t know why I waited so long. The Brightness (It actually handles daylight!) This was my biggest worry, but the "Brightness Booster" on the C5 is legitimate. We watched a football game last Sunday at noon with the blinds halfway open, and the picture still popped. It’s significantly brighter than older OLEDs I’ve seen at friends' houses. When the sun goes down and you watch HDR content (like Dune or Mandalorian), it’s stunning. The blacks are perfect ink-dark, obviously, but those bright highlights—lasers, sunsets, reflections—are actually intense now. It doesn't just look good "for an OLED," it just looks incredible, period. Gaming Performance (Kid-Approved) While I use it for movies, the main reason we upgraded was for gaming, and this TV is an absolute cheat code. It has four full HDMI 2.1 ports, so we have both the PS5 and the gaming PC hooked up without fighting over ports. Running games at 144Hz is shockingly smooth; the difference in responsiveness is something you feel immediately in fast-paced shooters. The Game Optimizer dashboard is also super handy for quickly tweaking settings without digging through menus. The Real Test: My Son loves it My teenage son, who usually prefers playing on his high-refresh-rate gaming monitor in his room, has completely taken over the living room since we got this. He hooked up his PC to test it out and hasn't left. He plays a lot of competitive shooters (Valorant, Apex) and said the input lag is practically non-existent—he actually told me it feels "cracked" (which I assume means very good). We also played some co-op console games, and the colors and fluidity make everything feel next-gen again. Verdict If you were worried about brightness like I was, don't be. The C5 fixed that. It’s the perfect hybrid TV—incredible for daytime sports and movies, and absolutely elite for gaming. It’s an expensive purchase, but the whole family is loving it. Highly recommended.
Hi, thank you for sharing such a thoughtful review of the LG OLED77C5PUA. We’re delighted to hear the Brightness Booster has lived up to your expectations, delivering vibrant daytime viewing alongside stunning HDR performance at night. Your description of the deep blacks and brilliant highlights perfectly reflects what makes the OLED evo AI C5 stand out. It’s also great to know the gaming features are making a difference for you and your son—144Hz gameplay, ultra‑low input lag, and the Game Optimizer dashboard are designed to provide exactly that seamless experience. Your feedback highlights how this TV can truly serve as the centerpiece for both family entertainment and competitive gaming. Blown away by the quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TV is amazing. 77 inches is the perfect size, and the color and blacks are amazing in a dark room. I always trust LG TVs, and this one proves that to be a smart strategy. Would definitely recommend.

Great TV but not perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] No TV is perfect, however for the money you are spending, I would assume better integration of the AI features as well as better overall OS features and customizability. However, picture is great and like any OLED the blacks and contrast are spectacular. If you can get this TV on a deal such as I have then you will have no real complaints (even though its on a deal, still very expensive). Oh and you should expect to get a sound system or sound bar if you are getting this TV, built in speakers not great.

C5 OLED for the Living room
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the LG C5 for my living room, and it’s been great! Even though the room is pretty bright during the day, the TV’s brightness handles light/reflections pretty well. Overall, great experience with the TV.

Terrible interface
We just bought the TV. Physical installation wasn't bad. But the interface is extremely confusing. I never got the mobile app to work. With difficulty, I downloaded the app for Spectrum (our cable). It doesn't appear on the main screen and is hard to find. We don't use any of the apps on the main screen (Disney, HBO, etc.) We like to stream PBS (Passport) and found out that it is not available on LGs. That weird floating cursor won't go away. CC is hard to access. If we ever find a channel to watch, the picture is fine. All of my complaints are about how difficult it is to use. The AI seems useless. Why are there all those ads for movies or streaming services in the way?
Congrats on your new OLED55C5PUA TV, the WebOS interface can take some getting used to and the floating cursor comes from the Magic Remote’s motion sensor, which you could use the arrow keys to navigate instead. Your Closed Captions can be turned on/off quickly by pressing the settings gear button on the remote, then scrolling down to “Accessibility.” We'd love to lend a helping hand if needed, be sure to reach us @LGUSSupport. We're happy to help! ^Jose
LG OLED 65" C5
Upgrade from my 65" OLED C9. My 4th LG OLED going back to a much earlier curved screen and no regrets with my purchase of any one of them. With modern OLED TVs, the quality is so good the improvements become miniscule from yr to yr, but even so and as good as my 65" C9 is, this is noticeably better in picture clarity. Most noticeably on upscaling on normal TV viewing, but not limited to just test. Just an overall better picture. With the deals available now i would highly recommend this unit.
Hi DJ, thank you for sharing your experience with the LG OLED65C5PUA. It’s impressive to hear this is your fourth LG OLED and that each one has delivered quality you can count on. We’re glad the improved picture clarity and upscaling have stood out compared to your C9, making everyday viewing even better. Your recommendation highlights the value of this model, and we’re delighted it continues to meet your expectations. Every scene looks sharp and lifelike, even in darker settings. The build feels premium, and the setup was easy.
