I picked an OLED because I wanted the vibrant colors and picture quality. The colors are vibrant, the blacks are pitch black. The speakers of the TV were also great, don't even need a soundbar. The TV is also loaded with apps and buttery smooth. The C5 was also easy to setup. I'd recommend this TV my friends and family.

Having owned the C2, C3, and even the B5, we’ve consistently been impressed with LG’s OLED picture quality, color accuracy, and overall reliability. The C5 takes everything we already loved and makes it even better with richer contrast, smoother motion, and a noticeably brighter, more vibrant panel. LG’s user interface is fast and intuitive, and the build quality feels premium as always. After years of sticking with LG, we can confidently say their OLED lineup just keeps getting better, and the C5 is our favorite yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ordered the TV on Nov 23 and was delivered on Dec 1. So, have been using this TV for about 2 weeks now. Love the picture quality and sound. TV sits on a stand in our living room. Colors are vibrant, lifelike, bright, and accurate. The ease of navigating apps and tv functions is also fairly easy to understand. On Xbox, everything feels smooth and responsive, and fast games don’t get blurry. The TV itself looks clean and modern with super thin bezels. All in all a worthy upgrade from my older B series LG OLED. Thanks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years of enjoying my LG OLED B7 65”, I finally decided to upgrade to something newer and larger — the 77” LG OLED C5 — and the experience has been nothing short of incredible. I’ve always stuck with OLED because nothing else matches its superior image quality, and LG has consistently delivered some of the best displays in the industry. My B7 was an amazing TV, so I came into this upgrade with pretty high expectations. The C5 not only met those expectations but exceeded them. The larger 77-inch screen instantly makes movies and games feel more immersive, but what really stands out is the jump in picture quality. The image is noticeably brighter, and the colors are far more vivid and lifelike compared to my older model. Another major improvement is how well the C5 handles bright rooms. My living room has several windows, and the TV still delivers an excellent picture even during the day. The enhanced brightness cuts through ambient light easily, and reflections are not noticeable at all during movie watching or gameplay. This is a huge improvement coming from the B7. Gaming has also taken a significant leap forward. The addition of 144Hz VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) makes motion incredibly smooth, gameplay more responsive, and overall performance far better than the B7’s 60Hz panel. WebOS also feels much more modern, thanks to the new A9 AI Gen 8 processor. Apps open faster, menus feel smoother, and navigating between streaming services is noticeably quicker and more responsive. It’s a clear upgrade over the older generation processor in the B7. Overall, the LG OLED C5 has been a fantastic upgrade — even coming from an older but still excellent LG OLED. If you’re upgrading from a previous-generation model or simply want top-tier picture quality, outstanding gaming performance, and strong daylight visibility with minimal reflections, the C5 is absolutely worth it.

LG really did an incredible job with this TV! Everything is fully functional and working properly. I am using the TV with PC, blue-ray player, it works great so far.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG OLED77C5 delivers outstanding picture quality thanks to its OLED panel, offering perfect blacks, vivid colors, and excellent contrast. Its brightness improvements over previous generations make HDR content more impactful, while the α9 AI Processor ensures smooth motion and sharp upscaling. Gaming performance is top-tier with HDMI 2.1 ports, low input lag, and full VRR support. The webOS interface is fast and intuitive, though still ad-heavy. Sound quality is decent for a slim TV, but most users will benefit from a soundbar. Overall, the C5 is a premium, versatile TV that excels for movies, gaming, and everyday viewing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Posting after 6 days of use of the 77 inch version. So far, the TV has turned out to be spectacular. Blacks are deep pitch black as expected of an OLED. There are several settings for Picture and Sound. Of these the Cinema and/or Filmmaker mode gave use the best out-of-the box effect and we liked them. Colors look great and real in these modes (not over saturated neither dull). Hooking up a soundbar does help. It allows to play the sound through both the TV and the Soundbar simultaneously which gives a nice effect. We find it amazing how well it reproduces low quality content on such a large screen. We also like the remote which has a cursor mode by just pressing the settings/wheel button on it!  It also appears (but I am not sure) that LG automatically runs a pixel refresh after every 4 hours of usage which is nice to prevent OLED issues such as burn-ins. What can be improved?    Setting things like "audio delay" when using a sound bar with the TV. This was not intuitive and took a while to dig out. Another major issue is the inability to see how much disk space/memory does the TV have or how much space has all the apps/updates etc taken up, how to clean/delete memory (not just remove apps). Less memory can lead to lags and it is useful for me as a user to know how much space I have before I install apps. It would have also helped if the "OLED care" section in the settings were to let us know what LG is automatically doing in the background. This would prevent users from unnecessarily doing (repeating) tasks that can actually end up damaging the TV long term. With that said, it is perhaps true that solutions for the above are already there in the TV that we missed (although I looked for these closely). Afterall we could only spend so much time with it in the 6 days. That said, we commend LG for producing a high quality product. We only hope it is a durable one and will continue giving us outstanding viewing (and auditory) pleasure and good eye relief for many years to come. 

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had the last year LG c4 model and that was a huge upgrade for me coming from the university 43’’ tv. I was really happy with it an unsure how it could get better. However this year 77;l c5 blew my mind for the discounted price and quality. It took me awhile to get used to it since it was so bright and big, but after less than a day i put it in my bedroom to serve as a cinema. And everyday since then I haven’t had t go to the theatre, it like i have a cinema experience in my bedroom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just turned on this TV and it is a major upgrade from the 65CX I had previously. The CX still looks amazing but this is noticeably brighter. I also like the picture in picture feature for viewing two HDMI's. I am a little disappointed they removed pass through DTS but the CX didn't have it either so I knew this before getting it. This TV was much lighter than the 65CX and felt more solid. The CX was scary when moving it around.
