The scent was very masculine and the smell meshed very well with the other scents utilized to maintain a masculine smell. The product was long lasting and did not need to be applied continuously throughout the day due to sweating, while still maintaining the pleasant scent. The gel stick applied well and did not leave any unpleasant residue or sticky gel in the areas applied. So for someone who fears people can smell my deodorant it should work for them. It just leaves a light fresh smell. I am always searching for a deodorant whose fragrance lasts. This product lived up to that. I used it in the morning and at 10 o clock at night, as I was ready to shower, I could still smell the scent. My next favorite is that is aluminum free. I know no study has been definitive about the potential dangers of aluminum, but I just feel better not using a metal containing product on my freshly shaved armpit. I was afraid since it is not an antiperspirant that I would be sweaty but I noticed no difference. The last great thing? No white or residue marks, glides on very smooth! However, once I applied it my under arms started to itch and almost burn. I assume this product may be suitable for some, but it was not for me. I may have done better white the white stick instead of the gel one. I had to shower to get it to start feeling better and the irritation lasted until the next morning even washed off.
