The instructions were simple to follow, and the final product was a great flavor for fajitas. It wasn't chewy and rather was a good, meaty texture. Personally, I would want the meat to be sliced thin already just for a faster preparation, but this did help move along the cooking process. You also might want to add a bit more seasoning and lime juice for personal taste.

It had a very strong pepper flavor that just kinda overtook the whole meat. I don't think it's kid friendly as it's spicy for a toddler (all the pepper). The meat itself outside of the seasoning had a funny flavor that I cannot pinpoint. I couldn't eat it past the first slice I put in my mouth. I wouldn't buy this again. Thankfully I had some backup chicken and that's what we ate.

But then I bit into it and the best I can describe it is spring-y. Not like a refreshing spring breeze but like this is a weird chewiness, that springs back up when you bite it. I tried two different cooking methods just to see and the result was the same. I am not sure if that is a meat quality thing. I seared it, then sliced it then seared it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Well, first and foremost, be aware that the meat is “Beef Rib Blade Meat”, which is a weird cut to use for fajitas. It's a good portion of meat, but we were expecting something not so poor quality on meat cut type. This made it extremely hard to make “tender” on our side. This meat type is usually used for slow-cooking or roasting because the connective tissue needs to gelatinize, not simply cooking up in “4-7 minutes” as the instructions say. I just didn't enjoy how tough it was and I knew I was getting something low quality with a price point like that, unfortunately. Oh well. The packaging is nice and bright, which is very eye catching and fun to look at. I like that the packing is transparent on the bottom half so you can see your product. I've had other things by this brand and they were good, so don't cross them off completely!

The meat came in smaller pieces than I expected—I was anticipating larger cuts of skirt steak. The flavor was good, a little spicier than I anticipated, and the meat itself was tender overall, though a few stringy parts were tough to chew. I think I may have just gotten a package with smaller cuts, so I'd love to try it again and see if I get a different cut next time. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. While it was a little different from other pre-marinated meats I've bought in similar packaging at other grocery stores, I'm really excited that Walmart now carries a line like this. Before, I would have had to travel quite a distance to get this type of product, but now I can easily add it to my Walmart grocery order, which is a big win for our family. Even if it's not quite as perfect as some brands I've tried in the past, the convenience and overall quality mean I'll definitely be buying it again.
