Great TV ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ✔ OLED Brightness Boost The C5 uses LG's latest OLED evo panel with a subtle brightness bump over last year's C3. While it's not as bright as the G4's MLA panel, the C5 still performs extremely well for HDR movies and dark-room viewing. ✔ Perfect Blacks & Infinite Contrast This is where OLEDs dominate. The 77-inch C5 delivers: Truly infinite contrast Perfect black levels Zero blooming around bright objects Night scenes in films look incredibly cinematic with rich shadows and amazing depth. ✔ Color Accuracy & Tone Out of the box, color accuracy is excellent. Dolby Vision content looks especially stunning. Skin tones are natural, and high-brightness highlights pop without clipping.

LG C5 - Ultimate OLED TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased the 77" C5 after upgrading from a QLED, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. This is easily one of the best OLED TVs on the market. The colors are vibrant, the blacks are incredibly deep, and the 4K picture quality is stunning. Our room gets plenty of light, yet the TV's brightness and contrast remain crisp with virtually no reflections. Even the built-in speakers deliver an impressive, theater-like audio experience right at home. Highly recommended.

The Best TV I've Ever Seen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is the best I've seen by far. The blacks are true black, the colors are vivid, and it is very bright. I have mine in a large bright room and it is true that it is bright room ready. I enjoy the new magic remote with the new AI assistant! If you are thinking about getting this vs a QLED tv, it is worth the money!

Amazing TV with Great Picture Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this TV for our Bedroom and it does not disappoint. Regular content looks extremely clean, and HDR and Dolby Vision just pop off the screen. Nothing beats OLED and the C5 delivers on all marks in the price bracket. There is nothing better out there for the money. The new remove is also an improvement for me, as the older LG remotes featured piano black plastics that scratch easy and feel slick in the hand. The new remote is matte in finish and easy to navigate with. The latest updates with WebOS 25 have also made it easier to navigate around the interface. Which absolutely purchase again.

Great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 77” LG C5 OLED delivers outstanding image quality with deep blacks, vibrant colors, and excellent contrast that makes movies and games look amazing. The picture is incredibly sharp and immersive, especially in darker rooms where OLED truly shines. However, while the brightness has improved compared to older models, it still isn't quite bright enough for rooms with a lot of daylight or strong overhead lighting. In brighter environments, the screen can look a bit dim and reflections become more noticeable. Overall, it's an excellent TV with premium visuals — just best suited for controlled-lighting setups rather than very bright rooms.

Great TV!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG C5 77” looks incredible! Perfect blacks and rich colors that make movies and shows feel cinematic. The brightness gives HDR content a real pop, making highlights stand out. The picture stays clear and consistent thanks to its wide viewing angles. It's also fantastic for gaming.

A Worthy Upgrade From an Already Great LG OLED

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After years of enjoying my LG OLED B7 65”, I finally decided to upgrade to something newer and larger — the 77” LG OLED C5 — and the experience has been nothing short of incredible. I've always stuck with OLED because nothing else matches its superior image quality, and LG has consistently delivered some of the best displays in the industry. My B7 was an amazing TV, so I came into this upgrade with pretty high expectations. The C5 not only met those expectations but exceeded them. The larger 77-inch screen instantly makes movies and games feel more immersive, but what really stands out is the jump in picture quality. The image is noticeably brighter, and the colors are far more vivid and lifelike compared to my older model. Another major improvement is how well the C5 handles bright rooms. My living room has several windows, and the TV still delivers an excellent picture even during the day. The enhanced brightness cuts through ambient light easily, and reflections are not noticeable at all during movie watching or gameplay. This is a huge improvement coming from the B7. Gaming has also taken a significant leap forward. The addition of 144Hz VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) makes motion incredibly smooth, gameplay more responsive, and overall performance far better than the B7's 60Hz panel. WebOS also feels much more modern, thanks to the new A9 AI Gen 8 processor. Apps open faster, menus feel smoother, and navigating between streaming services is noticeably quicker and more responsive. It's a clear upgrade over the older generation processor in the B7. Overall, the LG OLED C5 has been a fantastic upgrade — even coming from an older but still excellent LG OLED. If you're upgrading from a previous-generation model or simply want top-tier picture quality, outstanding gaming performance, and strong daylight visibility with minimal reflections, the C5 is absolutely worth it.

Great TV Out of the Box

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I unboxed the TV installed the stand and hooked up all connections. I first turned on antenna TV and watched some of my favorite older shows and the picture was good on all of them. Even with low quality input content the upscaled picture was nice. I even got to watch one of my favorite Christmas movies on an LG channel. I haven't touched any settings yet and I'm still getting used to the remote (I'm looking for a universal replacement to have a second option). But do far, I like the LG C5 77".

Remote control design quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am currently comparing similar spec and price-point TV's. After seeing the visual display quality in-store, compared with what I was going to look at I have pretty much made my mind up to spend more and invest in a OLED. However I couldn't help noticing that the remote for this TV looks as if it came from Poundland. The aesthetic design and materials off the controller needs work, thoughts echoed by other consumers which the quality of this modern day 5th limb does not match with the premium marketing of the product nor its hefty price tag. I fear it may well put me and other potential buyers off which seems a bit of a shame. Perhaps an area for product development.
