Best TV I've owned!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upgraded to an 83" C5 after owning a 65" B8 for 7+ years, which we still love. What an amazing TV.. we will always buy LG moving forward. Best picture I've seen and setup is a breeze, even a seperate AVR receiver. Maybe in a few years I'll be ready for an even bigger size screen!

Excellent Value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 2025 LG C5 77” has absolutely exceeded my expectations. The picture quality is stunning—deep blacks, vibrant colors, and incredibly smooth motion that makes everything from movies to sports feel more immersive. LG clearly refined their OLED processing again this year, and it shows. The feature set is equally impressive. The updated webOS runs fast and clean, the gaming features are top-tier, and the smart dimming/brightness adjustments work seamlessly in different lighting conditions. Setup was simple, and the overall build quality feels premium without an inflated price tag. For anyone looking to step into the OLED world without overspending, I can't recommend this TV enough. It's an outstanding entry point with performance that rivals much more expensive models. A fantastic buy.

Awesome TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LG OLED77C5PUA recently, and I'm really impressed. The picture quality is amazing with deep blacks and bright, vibrant colors. Movies and sports look very real, and HDR with Dolby Vision is excellent. The Brightness Booster makes it great even in bright rooms. For gaming, this TV is perfect—smooth performance with 120Hz refresh rate, very low input lag, and features like G-Sync and FreeSync for next-gen consoles. The design is sleek with thin bezels, and it looks premium in the living room. The smart system is easy to use, fast, and supports Alexa, Google Assistant, and AirPlay. Streaming apps work smoothly. The sound is decent and Dolby Atmos adds some depth, but for a true theater feel, you'll need a soundbar. Overall, the TV has amazing picture quality, great gaming features, and a stylish design. The downsides are the high price, average sound, and no DTS support. If you want one of the best TVs for movies and gaming, this is worth it—just plan for extra audio equipment.

Absolutely beautiful TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Just got my LG C5 83" OLED—stunning! Colors pop with vibrant, lifelike accuracy that makes movies magical. Packed with cutting-edge features like seamless webOS and gaming perks. CPU feels lightning-fast so far, menus zip along smoothly. Haven't tested AI deep yet, but early vibes are promising. Sharp 4K upscaling, deep blacks, and immersive sound. Super happy—worth every penny! One caveat. I did purchase this TV during an LG promotion stating that if you left a review then you will receive a gift card back. However, I am now reading that many people are not being rewarded as they've ran out of redemption quantity. This would definitely be a changing factor and I am sure I wouldn't be the only disgruntled character since this was a big deciding factor on my purchase. A $300 "rebate" for a C5 and even a "$500" rebate for a G5 is a significant amount.

Absolutely Blown Away by the Picture Quality!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the 77-inch LG C5 and it is absolutely stunning. The picture quality is incredible thanks to the new Alpha 9 Gen8 processor—the upscaling makes everything look sharp, and the OLED perfect blacks are unmatched. The Brightness Booster really makes HDR content pop, even in a room with some ambient light, which was a nice surprise compared to older OLEDs. For gaming, this TV is a beast. The 144Hz refresh rate and instant response time make games feel incredibly smooth, and having four full HDMI 2.1 ports is super convenient for connecting multiple consoles. The new webOS 25 interface is snappy and easy to navigate. The built-in sound is decent for such a thin profile, but I definitely recommend pairing it with a soundbar to match the cinematic visuals of the 77-inch screen. Highly recommended!

Beautiful! It's perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely loving this TV! I've been watching my friend's C4 for a year, just waiting for the right time to buy my own. I couldn't be happier. Easy to set up and get everything connected. I mounted it to the table stand which works really well for a TV this size. The picture is beautiful. Zero complaints so far.

Terrible interface

We just bought the TV. Physical installation wasn't bad. But the interface is extremely confusing. I never got the mobile app to work. With difficulty, I downloaded the app for Spectrum (our cable). It doesn't appear on the main screen and is hard to find. We don't use any of the apps on the main screen (Disney, HBO, etc.) We like to stream PBS (Passport) and found out that it is not available on LGs. That weird floating cursor won't go away. CC is hard to access. If we ever find a channel to watch, the picture is fine. All of my complaints are about how difficult it is to use. The AI seems useless. Why are there all those ads for movies or streaming services in the way?

Great picture quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture quality on this tv is fantastic. I've had my old 65” tv for about 10 years until it just stopped working. After some research, this tv hit all my requirements in terms of refresh rate, OLED, and size. Everyone says the color and picture is extremely vibrant. The sound quality is only ok, so I would recommend a sound bar/speakers to go with it. Other than that, I highly recommend this tv.

Nice and Clear Picture

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture of this 83" is nice andclear The picture of this 83" C5 is nice and clear. It is a real upgraded from my previous LCD. The only problem that I ran into was that the Alexa voice command does not work as it should be. Still working on this problem

AI Sound That Always Knows Better Than Me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LG OLED evo C5 AI thinking it would “slightly improve movie nights.” Instead, it turned my living room into a cinema, a gaming arena, and, according to my family, a place where I “disappear for suspiciously long hours.”
