The blacks are actually black, colors pop, HDR content just hits different, and it really does give that “cinema” vibe. Brightness is better than my earlier TVs.. The built-in speakers are fine with good sound quality. The webOS interface is clean and fast, and all the streaming apps are right there. AI Picture/Sound modes are cool too—sometimes I leave them on, sometimes I tweak things myself. It's super thin and looks slick on the wall. Definitely has that “premium” vibe.

I also like the picture in picture feature for viewing two HDMI's. I am a little disappointed they removed pass through DTS but the CX didn't have it either so I knew this before getting it. This TV was much lighter than the 65CX and felt more solid. The CX was scary when moving it around.

Display is amazing even in our bright living room. It infact exceeded my expectations. We already have a C4 65' tv that we bought 5 years ago which has become a part of our family and this just another terrific addition to our new home high roof living room wall. The LG C5 83-inch is a 4K UHD TV, so resolution is , with full support for 4K streaming, 4K Blu‑ray, and 4K gaming. Sound in this TV is impressive than the older version. I did purchase this TV during an LG promotion stating that if you left a review then you will receive a gift card back. However, I am now reading that many people are not being rewarded as they've ran out of redemption quantity. This would definitely be a changing factor and I am sure I wouldn't be the only disgruntled character since this was a big deciding factor on my purchase. A $300 "rebate" for a C5 and even a "$500" rebate for a G5 is a significant amount.

There was a minor glitch with the HDMI Arc connection disabling my surround sound mode on my receiver. It was easily fixed. LG made it easy to enable/disable certain features like the tv talk back function and AI voice command.

I also really like the gaming hub overly, have always used consoles and have never been able to see FPS while playing, lots of neat features hiding in there I wasn't expecting and didn't see when researching.
