Great picture, perfect brightness, & awesome sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv is an excellent add on to my living room, the picture quality is great, the resolution is perfect, the speed is awesome and the contrast even from the edge of my room is great. The connectivity is easy and the refresh rate between the apps is also nice. Overall I like the product.

Amazing TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best tv I have ever owned. The brightness is amazing and usually don't even need half of it in a dark room, but is great as an option for daytime watching. Picture is crisp and clean and sound is good

Sharp Image

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The LG OLED77C5PUA is one of those TVs that immediately feels like an upgrade the moment you turn it on. The picture is incredibly sharp, with the kind of deep blacks and rich contrast that make movies and games look almost surreal, and the brightness is strong enough to give HDR content real punch without blowing out the details. Off-angle viewing is great too, which is a lifesaver if your couch setup isn't perfectly centered. The sound is surprisingly full for built-in speakers, though most people buying a TV this nice will probably still pair it with a soundbar. The only real downsides are the usual OLED quirks — reflections in bright rooms and a remote that feels a little more fiddly than it needs to be. It's a big, heavy TV, so setting it up isn't exactly a one-person job, but once it's in place, it's genuinely impressive for the price. Overall, it's a fantastic pick if you're after a huge, high-end screen without jumping into the crazy-expensive flagship tier.

Streaming - gleaming - WOW!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LG makes the screens for several vendors and they really have a terrific process and as a legacy branded industrial engineering firm, they build systems that both perform and dazzle. This 77 has it all. The image quality is fabulous, crisp and there remotes are responsive. We replaced the 65" B processor with the 77 C processor and it is a nice step up, but the B still commands watching sports or movies, the 65 is in the smaller den. I watch the usual through ROKU boxes, subscribe to YOUtubeTV and the major premium channels and have great image quality but not as good as BlueRay DVD but i only have 1 DVD because I gave them away for convenience...99% of what I watch is streamed and this gives you great image quality and sound, too...i have yet to want to bring my Paradigm system with the big Yamaha amplifier up to connect it to this 77 because it is good enough....and for concerts we wear the headsets through the ROKU or the LG blue tooth....great combo, I have grown to rely on LG.

LG C5 OLED DOESNT DISAPPOINT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up the LG C5 77-inch after owning the previous LG C9 OLED, and this one keeps the streak alive. The C5 is the upgrade I have been looking for. The picture quality is exactly what you buy an OLED for — deep blacks, insane contrast, and colors that actually look natural instead of blown out. Brightness has noticeably improved compared to older models, especially in HDR, so it handles daylight rooms better than past OLEDs I've owned. The motion handling is smooth, gaming performance is top-tier (low input lag, full HDMI 2.1 support), and the OS is fast without the annoying lag you get from some other brands. Build quality is premium, setup was simple, and so far I've had zero issues — same as all my previous LG OLEDs. They've always been reliable for me, and this TV keeps that trend going. If you're on the fence, just get it. The C5 is the kind of upgrade you immediately notice and don't regret.

The King of Contrast Returns

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tv is simply one of the best-looking TVs you can buy in 2025. It delivers perfect blacks and infinite contrast that make HDR content absolutely pop. Shadows are inky deep, bright highlights explode off the screen without blooming, and every scene—from moody noir films to sun-drenched nature documentaries—looks stunningly lifelike. Colors are rich yet natural, motion handling remains buttery smooth for sports and gaming, and the improved peak brightness over last year's C4 means it holds its own even in moderately bright rooms. Viewing angles are predictably flawless, so the picture stays impeccable no matter where you sit. If you want a massive 77-inch screen that makes movies and games feel cinematic, the LG C5 is hard to beat. Contrast and picture quality are reference-level—everything else is just a bonus.

Go OLED and never look back!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently upgraded to the LG OLED77C5PUA, and I couldn't be happier with my choice. From the moment I turned it on, the picture quality blew me away. The deep, true blacks make every scene feel incredibly lifelike, and the colors are rich and vibrant without ever feeling oversaturated. Watching movies, sports, or gaming on this screen feels truly immersive — the contrast and clarity are on another level. The interface is smooth and intuitive. Navigating apps and streaming services is effortless, and everything loads quickly with minimal lag. I also appreciate the sleek, minimalist design — it looks stunning in my living room and complements the space perfectly. Whether you're a casual viewer or a cinephile, the LG OLED77C5PUA delivers an exceptional viewing experience. Between the gorgeous picture, responsive interface, and premium build, it's an upgrade that truly enhances any home entertainment setup. Highly recommend!

Amazing TV with Great Picture Quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this TV for our Bedroom and it does not disappoint. Regular content looks extremely clean, and HDR and Dolby Vision just pop off the screen. Nothing beats OLED and the C5 delivers on all marks in the price bracket. There is nothing better out there for the money. The new remove is also an improvement for me, as the older LG remotes featured piano black plastics that scratch easy and feel slick in the hand. The new remote is matte in finish and easy to navigate with. The latest updates with WebOS 25 have also made it easier to navigate around the interface. Which absolutely purchase again.

Great upgrade on an already great TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had an LG OLED TV for about 7 years now (also a C model) but it turned out that our family room doesn't get as much action as our bedroom for TV watching. I've been so happy with it that I wanted to upgrade the bedroom, too, and see what kind of improvements have happened in the last few years in LG tech. This TV is absolutely amazing. It's noticeably brighter than my old one, which is important since we have south-facing windows in our bedroom. It seems like it doesn't glare as much for some reason as my older TV, although that could be just a lack of dust on the screen compared to the old one. The blacks are awesome and WebOS is very snappy compared to our previous Fire TV UI - even the older one is holding up better than recent Fire TV purchases, so I think WebOS is great and this TV is future proofed bigtime on that front. I've got it hooked up to my home assistant and I'm able to do basic controls there, although I haven't figured out yet how to open specific apps. Overall I'm super happy with it and wish I had upgraded sooner.
